The WordPress ninja, Asher prides himself on his attention to detail, beautiful coding practices and solving even the toughest client challenges in a matter of minutes. Hailing from the sunny shores of Byron Bay, Asher moved to cosmopolitan Melbourne in 2002 and enjoys his job as much as he does drinking beers on a balmy summer day.
Cyrus doesn't believe in single job titles, describing himself as illustrator, graphic designer, painter, emoji creator and logo specialist. His previous advertising clients include Milo, KFC, Nestle, Gerber, Toblerone and Clinique. Why a designer working as social media director? It's increasingly a visual medium. He once spent time working on client designs while in hospital after eating dodgy sushi - this is not a man who accepts mediocrity. Do not ask him about The Walking Dead and do not feed him cake.
With nearly ten years' experience in journalism, documentaries, filmmaking and photography, Emma is our go-to girl when we need beautiful images - moving and still. She has an eye for the perfect shot and a mysterious way of making her subjects feel comfortable in front of the camera - she can make a performer out of anyone! In between making video magic for our clients she is walking Handsome Dutch, her enormous great dane at the park. Seriously, the dog is huge - he weighs more than Emma does.
Lauren has over 15 years experience in the events industry and over 7 years in the consumer product industry. She has been working for Chek/OIP since 2017. Primarily responsible for our Events/Activations divisions, her role involves idea/concept development, client relationships, sales, activation implementation.
Lauren has worked with a number of large Australian chain stores Kmart, Big W, Officeworks, Spotlight, Reject Shop, Woolworths, Coles and Target to name a few.
Outside of work Lauren loves to spend time with her young family, playing, watching movies, baking or going for walks.
With eighteen years' experience in marketing and digital comms, Sam lives and breathes Digital Marketing & Branding. She is the head trainer for all our corporate training sessions and digital masterclasses. She firmly believes that recruiting the best possible talent will help Chek Digital deliver the great results for clients. With an eye for detail and a finger on the pulse, she's constantly thinking about clients and how we can serve them better - she's been known to rush out of a cinema for a client emergency (the film was Jungle Book). She's mum to a teenager and a pre-teen and eats crazy amounts of salt.
