Alfred Adu Asiwome

Alfred joined LUG in 2015 as a lecturer on the Foundation Programme, where he teaches Mathematics and Marketing. He holds a two-year research-based M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He also holds a BSc. Degree in Statistics with a first class honours from the University of Cape Coast. Professionally, Alfred was a teaching assistant at the University of Cape Coast's Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He also lectured in some statistics and mathematics courses on the University of Cape Coast and Valley View University's sandwich and distance education programmes.

Dr. Emmanuel Arthur is a Senior lecturer in Marketing, and currently the Provost at Lancaster University Ghana. He holds a B.A (Hons) degree from the University of Ghana Legon, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing U.K, a Postgraduate Cert in Academic Practice from Lancaster University U.K, an M.A from Birmingham City University and a PhD from London Metropolitan University. He is a chartered marketer and a full member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK and Ghana. Dr. Arthur possesses extensive industry and academic experience having worked in Ghana's export, advertising, communication and service industries. His last held position in industry was Marketing Manager of Ghana Airports Company Ltd where he played a pivotal role in the rebranding of the organization when it decoupled from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority. He has taught in various universities at both undergraduate and graduate levels and before being appointed Provost was head of the Business Studies Department at Lancaster University Ghana. He has provided training and consultancy services to several private and public sector organizations. He has specialized research interest in market orientation, service marketing, international and export marketing, general application of strategic marketing principles, Ghana's mobile telecommunications, aviation and oil and gas industries with several publications in reputable journals.

Dr. Francis Kwabena Atta

Dr. Francis Kwabena Atta is a Lecturer at the LU Ghana PPR Department. He holds a PhD in International Affairs from the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra. He also had his master's degree in International Affairs from the same university following the completion of his BA Political Studies Undergraduate programme at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. Dr. Atta was a visiting scholar at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, Switzerland in 2017 where he was both lead discussant and participant in various seminars at the Institute and at the United Nations Headquarters. Dr. Atta has research interest in Identity and Violence, Transnational Terrorism as well as Regionalism and Security in Africa. His publications and theses have largely centered around these research interests. Currently, Francis is the module leader for Foreign Policy of Contending Powers, a level 200 undergraduate module that explores the dynamics, complexities and theoretical foundations of the foreign policies of the United States, China and Iran. He also doubles as the leader for the Critical Thinking module on the Foundation programme. Dr. Atta has also had experience working in the areas of curriculum development and teaching and learning as an adjunct in other universities in Ghana. Francis has over six years working experience in the media, working with the Media General Group, one of the top media organisations in Ghana, owners and managers of TV3 Network Limited and about eight other subsidiaries. During the six years period working with Media General, Francis held various roles: News and Current Affairs Producer, Manager at the Office of the CEO and Manager in charge of Client Service for the Group. In these roles, he helped take and implement decisions that put the company on a sound footing. This rich experience in management has been very relevant to his academic career since his full transition into academia in 2020.

Dr. Hina Khan

Dr. Khan is a lecturer in Marketing for International Operations at Lancaster University. She has been an academic for the last ten years. She has published in international journals. She regularly presents papers and chairs sessions at international conferences. She is competent in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Dr. Lawrence Boakye

Dr. Lawrence Boakye is a Senior Lecturer in the LUG Politics Philosophy and Religion (PPR) Department. He currently teaches in areas such as Ethics, Political Theories, and Politics of Development. He was born in Ghana, and he studied at The University of the Holy Cross in Rome, where he got his Ph. D in Politics and Ethics in 2009. Dr. Boakye did his post-doctoral studies at the University of Dallas in the US. He undertook an extensive research in the areas of international relations, peace building, and conflict resolution strategies and has published extensively in these areas. He also holds two post graduate international certificates in education and academic practices from the UK and the US. Currently, his areas of research focus on Philosophy, Politics and Culture relating to contemporary issues of human development. Dr. Boakye has taught Political Philosophy and Metaphysics at the University of Dallas, Holy Cross University in Rome, Italy, as well as the University Ghana. He has also collaborated in teaching and research for many years with Ghana Institute of Management And Public Administration (Gimpa) on programmes such as Public Sector Management Training Program and the International Relation Program. Dr. Boakye does consultancy work for Goldwater Conflict Solutions in Peace Management and Conflict Resolutions Training in Accra - Ghana. He has also set up The Pegasus Institute (The Men's Academy), where he organizes training in leadership, character building, and mentoring for students. He is professionally affiliated to The American Philosophical Association (US), Texas Teaching Fellows (US), International Society for MacIntyrean Enquiry (UK), and The Personalists Association (Poland). Dr. Boakye loves reading, cycling, and also very passionate about classical music.
