PERIA SCHOOL

Here at Peria School we are looking forward to another great year. 2024 is going to be a blast. We seem to be continuously growing these days with a roll of 73 students (as of the 4th of March) and 4 composite classrooms and a Makerspace. We are enjoying this steady increase in our roll and the added opportunities more student numbers afford us. The numbers in each class remain small and we have 5 kaiawhina (teacher aides) who work across the classrooms, which means that all students have equal and ample access to learning and extra support. We invest in teachers and teacher aides because we know that this makes the most difference for students in their learning to have that support... We have recently undertaken huge work in terms of our Strategic Goals for the next 2 years and we are really excited about what this means for our School, for our Staff and Students.
