A born and raised Haligonian, Carmen brings a strong background in digital and print publishing and design. As a graduate of the well recognized Graphic Design program at NSCC, Carmen joined our team with the goal of increasing and broadening her design toolbox and helping our clients communicate their message across multiple mediums.
Carmen impresses everyone with her dedicated work ethic, either here at the office or in the pool as a Competitive Masters Swimmer. She sees every opportunity as a chance to grow and with a "challenge accepted" attitude, she will tackle any job that needs to be done. Innovative thinking mixed with her love of creativity results in beautiful designs; keeping our customers happy.
With a creative mind, a competitive edge and a genuine love for design, Carmen has been a welcome addition to our team. When she's not crying in laughter at repeats of The Office, she can be found hard at work, but always ready with a quick quip.
"Design is thinking made visual and I feel that is a big part of why I love what I do! I love taking what starts out as a scribble in my notebook and then bringing it to life in a creative way. It's fun to see the process and rewarding to see the end result."
Carrie was born and raised in Cape Breton and arrived on the mainland to attend Saint Mary's University. With a BSc, BA and Certificate in HR Management, Carrie has been managing businesses and helping them succeed for the last 15+ years. Her extensive experience across multiple industries gives her a unique perspective on business operations, and a great set of skills with which to contribute to our success. Carrie's direct experience managing one of the regions better known marketing agencies makes her a perfect addition to our team and a welcomed voice at our table!
We love people who have passions and interests outside of the office! Carrie is an entrepreneur at heart and knows what it takes to create a superior product and meet every deadline. When she's not buried in numbers and people, Carrie fosters her creativity in the kitchen making chocolate bars and other sweet treats, and has her own successful business. We are all happy to support her business goals with free taste testing!
Daisy joined the Roddis Communications wolf pack back in March 2020 as the official office pup. Her days consist of sleeping under desks, eating crumbs off the floor after lunch and barking for no reason at random times during the day.
Daisy always greets guests at the door with her tail wagging uncontrollably and probably a bark or two. She is very friendly and loves when new hoomans visit. She prefers back pets but will flip over for belly rubs if you are lucky. Want to stop any barking? Make a big deal about how special she is, apparently she is a very high maintenance puppy!
Daisy contributes to the team by supplying a furry ball of love all day, every day. She seeks out every opportunity to snuggle, especially when the hoomans are hard at work. She jumps at the sound of the peanut butter jar opening and is always down for a game of fetch in the hallway.
David brings a unique perspective to applying marketing to real world business challenges. From his days as the Director of Marketing for one of Nova Scotia's most successful specialized electronics manufacturers, to his years helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, he understands how to deliver marketing campaigns that balance budgets and results.
David's experience working in competitive domestic and export orientated industries has given him a real understanding of the key factors that lead to profitable success. As a graduate of the Sandler Sales Training President's Club program, he makes sure every project he delivers always considers how sales and bottom line growth can be grown through effective marketing.
"I've always considered marketing as a role designed to both lead and support the other aspects of a business. It means finding out what makes a business special and helping to develop tools to communicate those values to the right audience.

With a made-in-Halifax design education, Joy first tested her graphic design skills in a busy print shop before moving on to a publishing company producing a national business magazine. Since joining the Roddis Communications team, Joy has become a go-to resource for our clients.
She has a unique ability to take virtually any project and find a way to make it better. As Creative Director she bridges the gap between client requests and the delivery of tight designs across all mediums. We've yet to find something she can't do, from beautiful web design, amazing print designs, custom video creation, and everything in between. Along with being the chief design mind, she has a passion for lists and organization, making sure that projects are delivered to clients on time and within scope.
With an infectious laugh, an unreal ability to deliver beautiful designs, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, she may just be the person clients love speaking to most.
Design nerd, typography enthusiast and avid learner, Joy is a key member of the Roddis Communications team and a favorite of all our clients.
Megha arrived at Roddis Communications with a huge smile, great work ethic and a desire to continue her professional development. It didn't take long for us to learn just how dynamic and brave she is. Leaving your homeland to travel to a snowbound land, by yourself, at the age of 19 is just the start of her journey. Blessed with a love of education from her parents, who help provide educational opportunities for children in India, she has quickly demonstrated that she's up for any challenge and is not afraid to ask any question to learn how to further enhance her skills.
With excellent CSS skills, and a solid foundation of computer programming, Megha is our in-house Big Commerce trained developer, WordPress expert and is now learning how to love the Drupal development environment. She's often the envy of our Monday morning regroups with either tales of relaxing, eating Pizza and watching Netflix, or dropping everything and going camping on the spur of the moment as she explores Nova Scotia!
