Abigail Krimmel is currently a junior at Missouri S&T studying Computer Science. She is a part of several campus organizations including her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, has membership in other greek affiliated organizations, is a Kummer Vanguard Scholar, and she volunteers during Opening Week as an Opening Week Mentor. With prior marketing experience within these organizations and other opportunities, she is now helping with communications and marketing for Student Well-Being. Alysha M. O'Neil became vice chancellor for finance and operations at Missouri University of Science and Technology on July 1, 2021. She previously served as director of project implementation and engagement in the Division of Finance at the University of Missouri-Columbia. O'Neil also served as chief business officer for MU's Division of Student Affairs. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in accountancy from the Trulaske College of Business at MU and an MBA from the university's Gordon E. Crosby Jr. MBA program
Amber Johnston obtained her bachelor's degree from Columbia College in 2011 in Criminal Justice Administration, working with the Missouri Department of Corrections for the next decade as both a Case Manager and a Probation and Parole Officer. Eventually she went back to school and graduated in 2021 with her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Webster University. Amber specializes in the LGBTQ+ population, healthy relationships, communication, and boundary setting skills. Amber primarily uses a combination of Narrative Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy and CBT, but also uses a variety of other technique as appropriate for the client. Amber is passionate about helping clients find balance and peace in their lives. In her free time, Amber loves to read, draw, and spend time with her children. She is an avid fan of anything science fiction and/or comic book related.

Brittney Meyer has worked at S&T since September of 2017. Brittney has been with Student Well-Being since January of 2020, and she works closely with the Peer Wellness Educators and Joe's PEERS. Brittney is working on her bachelors degree in Psychology and anticipates graduating in December 2023. In her free time she enjoys running, working out, traveling and exploring the outdoors with her husband.

Cheryl Cain joined Missouri S&T in 2023. As chief marketing and communications officer, she leads a team responsible for developing and managing Missouri S&T's brand identity, strategic communications, web and digital initiatives, social media, visual identity and media relations, and engagement and outreach. Before S&T, Cain was vice president for marketing and communications at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. She holds an MBA in marketing from the University of North Texas, a bachelor's degree in television-radio/broadcast journalism from Ithaca College, and a certificate in strategic communication management from Ithaca College and the International Association of Business Communicators. She is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America.

Connie Goodridge has more than 35 years of experience at Missouri S&T, with more than 30 years in the chancellor's office. During her tenure, she has served seven chancellors and three interim chancellors. She is responsible for fiscal operations, event coordination, special reports and projects, as well as other duties for the office. Goodridge attended Rolla Technical Institute, where she studied secretarial/business practices, and is a Rolla High School graduate. Outside of work, she served as music director for her church for many years. She enjoys music, reading, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Dr. Borrok became interim dean of the College of Engineering and Computing on Aug. 1, 2022, after serving as associate dean for research in the college. He joined Missouri S&T in 2017 as chair of the department of geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering after serving as director of the school of geosciences at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering and geological sciences from the University of Notre Dame, a master's degree in economic geology from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor's degree in geology and geophysics from Missouri S&T.

Debora Andrade is currently a junior, pursuing a major in Computer Science, along with a minor in Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience. This semester she will hold the position of Vice-President Internal at the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). In addition to Debora's role in SWE, she is honored to serve as the PR CHAIR for both SHPE and ACM-W; these organizations hold a special place in her heart. Working with them has provided her valuable insights into effective communication and marketing strategies. When Debora's not immersed in her studies or engaging in various activities, she'll likely be found exploring new destinations with her family or cherishing moments with their three adorable corgis. She also find great joy in expressing her creativity through different art forms.

Dr. Robinson joined Missouri S&T in 1980 as a counseling psychologist. She oversees athletics and recreation; career opportunities and employer relations; community standards and conduct; counseling, disability support and student wellness; leadership and cultural programs; Leach Theatre; residential life; student health services; student life; and the testing center. Robinson has been assistant director and associate director of the Counseling Center, director of the Center for Personal and Professional Development, and associate vice chancellor for student and international affairs. She was named vice chancellor for student affairs in January 2003. Robinson served on the board of directors for the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) and as co-chair of the Council for Student Affairs, one of 10 operational councils APLU. Robinson has also served as president of the Society of Consulting Psychology, Division 13 of the American Psychological Association. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in education and counseling psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Diana Carlson obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Major in Clinical Psychology from Ecuador in 2014. She obtained Master's degrees in Education and in Applied Positive Psychology from Spain, both in 2019. Diana was part of the team of psychosocial support in the Ecuadorian Red Cross and has extensive experience working different roles with Student Well-being in higher education institutions in Ecuador. She graduated from Webster University with a Master of Arts in Applied Educational Psychology in December 2023. Diana joined Missouri S&T in January 2024, and she enjoys working with students. She loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets.
Diane Stutts obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English in 1974 From Louisiana State University and her Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development in 1986, also from LSU. Diane has been at Missouri S&T since 1991. Diane enjoys individual counseling in addition to running the ADHD group. Diane enjoys presenting on stress management, motivation, MBTI, and career development/advising. Diane enjoys singing, reading, theater, kayaking, pop culture, arts, and spending time with friends.

Dr. Colin Potts joined Missouri S&T June 1, 2021, as provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs following a nearly 30-year career at Georgia Institute of Technology. A native of London, Potts holds a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Sheffield University. Following his Ph.D., he worked as a software engineer and ergonomics consultant before joining Imperial College London's department of computing. Later, he moved to the Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corp. in Austin, Texas, then joined Georgia Tech in 1992. His research over the past 25 years has spanned the fields of requirements engineering, software design methods, human-computer interaction and information privacy.
Gene Gianladis obtained his PhD in Psychology in 1972. Gene has worked at Missouri S&T since 2002 and retired in 2017. In 2019 he rejoined our team, part time, to provide individual counseling to students. Gene enjoys fishing, archery, and spending time with his animals.

Jessica Gargus completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Fitness in 2005 from the University of Missouri. Upon graduation, she worked briefly in the fitness field and then for six years as a nutrition educator for her local community. In 2012, Jessica returned to the University of Missouri for graduate school and completed a Master of Education in Health Education and Promotion. Jessica is a Certified Health Education Specialist and has worked with Student Well-Being at Missouri S&T since November 2012. As Director, she aims to bring comprehensive well-being resources and services to campus and to build a healthy, safe, connected, and resilient S&T community. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family on her hobby farm, working in the garden, or playing in the river. She is also a certified yoga instructor and occasionally hosts yoga classes on the farm.
Jill P. Tanner joined Missouri S&T in 2021 as the university's first marketing strategist. In 2022, she was promoted to director of digital marketing. As chief of staff since November 2023, she provides strategic support to the chancellor and oversees government relations activities in coordination with the University of Missouri System's government relations team.
She manages administrative operations, coordinates communication and engagement with various stakeholders, and advocates for Missouri S&T's interests. She holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and is pursuing a master's degree in information science and technology from Missouri S&T.

Dr. Khayat joined Missouri S&T as the Jones Professor in 2011. He also serves as director of the Center for Infrastructure Engineering Studies and was previously director of the Center for Research on Concrete Applications for Sustainable Transportation and Center for Transportation Infrastructure and Safety, U.S. Department of Transportation-funded University Transportation Centers. Before joining Missouri S&T, he was director of the Center for Excellence on Concrete Infrastructure Engineering and head of the Integrated Research Laboratory on Materials Valorization and Innovative and Durable Structures at the Université de Sherbrooke in Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, a master of engineering degree in construction engineering and management, and a master of science degree in structural engineering.

Kelly Stuck graduated from Rolla High School in 1992. Kelly joined Missouri S&T in January 2014 and Kelly provides administrative support to the department team and is the first line of contact for students engaging with our department. Lanette Epstein joined the Chancellor's Office in 2021. She is scheduling assistant to the chancellor; coordinates travel; event preparation; and assists with projects. In addition, she serves as backup for the executive assistant and reception area.

Laura Woods-Buchanan obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders with minors in Child Studies and Disability Studies from Truman State University in 2017. She also completed her 200hr yoga teacher training and is a certified yoga instructor. Laura started working for Missouri S&T in January 2020 with an emphasis on mental well-being and suicide prevention, and now focuses on communications and marketing for Student Well-Being and other health and wellness departments on campus. In her free time, she enjoys reading (she's trying to read 85 books this year so email her your favorites!), sewing, cooking, and exploring with her spouse and dog.
Lin Wang obtained her Bachelor's degree in English from Qingdao University in 2012; Masters degrees in Social Work and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University in 2018. Lin joined Missouri S&T in 2022. Working from a person-centered, strengths-based approach, Lin is passionate about helping students make positive changes and live more fulfilling lives. Outside of individual therapy, Lin leads support groups that include Stress Management and Body Positivity. In her free time, she enjoys reading, being in nature, and spending time with her family, friends, and animals.
Lynne Davidson obtained her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin- Stout in 2003, and then went on to get her Master's degree in Counseling from Webster University in 2006. Lynne has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2006 and has been at Missouri S&T since 2016, doing individual therapy and leading support groups that include Miners for Recovery (M4R) and a Safety group for females with a history of trauma. Lynne's priority as the Sr. Assistant Director of Student Well-Being is to make sure each and every student gets the clinical services needed and to support the mental well-being of the S&T community. Lynne enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, watching sports, and is an avid fan of FRIENDS.

Dr. Boroujerdi became dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education on July 1, 2022. He joined S&T from Virginia Tech University, where he served as director of the School of Public and International Affairs. An expert in comparative politics, Middle East regional politics and Iranian history, he holds a Ph.D. in international relations from The American University, a master's degree in political science from Northeastern University and a bachelor's degree in political science from Boston University.

Dr. Roberson joined Missouri S&T as the vice chancellor of diversity, equity, & inclusion and chief diversity officer in November 2022. She oversees the departments of equity & Title IX (ETIX) and strategic diversity initiatives (SDI). Roberson has over 20 years of experience in equal opportunity, diversity, Title IX, and inclusion. She has held various leadership positions in higher education, including director of equal opportunity & diversity and dean of business & information technology. Dr. Brow, Curators' Distinguished Professor of materials science and engineering (MSE), joined Missouri S&T in 1998 as professor of ceramic engineering and a senior investigator in the Materials Research Center. He was named chair of the ceramic engineering department in 2001. In 2004, he became chair of the then-new MSE department. He has served in other leadership positions, including interim vice provost and dean of the College of Engineering and Computing from 2016 to 2017, director of the Center for Biomedical Research from 2018 to 2021, and interim deputy provost for academic excellence from 2019 to 2022. In March 2024, he was appointed executive director of operations for the Kummer Institute. Brow has more than 250 archival research publications and he holds 22 U.S. and international patents on glasses and related materials. He is a past-president of the American Ceramic Society and a member of the World Academy of Ceramics.

Simran Bhatia obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and International relations from India in May 2018. She graduated from Missouri S&T with her M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and graduated in May 2022. Simran has over eight years of experience in health education, psycho-social research, program implementation, and public speaking through various projects with the United Nations, World Bank, UNICEF, Fairfield University, USA, Edith Cowan University, Australia, and KPMG. Simran is also an author of the book titled ‘An Impact Assessment of Stress Level of Women Working in 181 Helpline Services: A Psycho-Social Analysis.' In her time at Missouri S&T, Simran has held various leadership positions and served as the Peer Wellness Educator for Mental Well-Being. Simran's work is fueled by her passion for helping others and the belief that individual well-being creates a positive ripple effect across everything one does. Simran oversees the Mental Well-Being, Miner Support Network, and ProjectConnect education programs and is part of the JED Health and Well-Being Committee. Stephanie Murray-Miller obtained her Bachelor of Health Science in Public Health degree from the University of Missouri in 2019, and then went on to obtain her Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Missouri in 2021. Upon graduating, she worked in the administrative department at a Federally Qualified Health Center in her local community to help reduce barriers to care and ensure access for all. During her undergraduate and graduate career, Stephanie was involved in various organizations and held positions in which she interacted closely with the student population to ensure they felt welcomed on campus. She joined Missouri S&T in 2022. In her role as a Health Educator, Stephanie chairs the S&T Prevention Coalition, coordinates alcohol and other drugs initiatives, and sexualized violence prevention initiatives. Her life-long goal is to have a true impact on the health and wellbeing of others. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, kayaking, and hanging out with her cat.

Appointed in June 2021 as vice chancellor for strategic initiatives, Dr. Roberts joined Missouri S&T in 2014 as the founding dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business. He served as interim provost from July 2019 through May 2021, Roberts previously served as professor and chair of biology at Central Michigan University. As an evolutionary scientist focused on the integrative biology of insects, he specializes in the study of honeybees and solitary bee species. He holds a Ph.D. in biology from Arizona State University and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in biological sciences from Illinois State University.

Dr. Faley became interim dean of the Kummer College on March 1, 2023. He joined S&T in 2022 as associate vice chancellor for innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization. Previously, he was distinguished professor and special assistant to the president at University of the Virgin Islands. Before that he was chief architect of the entrepreneurship program at the University of Michigan, which was named the top-ranked graduate program in entrepreneurship in the country in 2013 under his guidance. Based on his work in industry and academia, Faley has developed expertise in technology licensing, venture capital, product, business, and economic development.

Verkamp joined Missouri S&T in 2014 as a senior development officer and was promoted to executive director of development in 2015 and assistant vice chancellor of University Advancement in 2017.
