MONTICELLO MAIN STREET

Monticello Main Street, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 by concerned local volunteers dedicated to historic preservation and to strengthening our community's economic growth. The main area of concentration is in the downtown business district and the extended fringe area of Monticello's downtown... Monticello Main Street also plans several events throughout the year to highlight our unique downtown. While this year's events have been curtailed due to COVID-19, in a typical year we would host Chocolate Fantasy, Whites of Spring, Monticellobration, and Reds of Christmas. In 2020, we hosted several "Music on Main" events to provide music for our community and the dining areas within the newly created parklets. We also host a "Fall into Local" event on October 3rd as well as a modified Reds of Christmas. Each year we also host the Monticello Farmers' Market on Thursday afternoon's May-October!
