Andrew Vallely

Job Titles:

Andrew handles a varied caseload and represents clients on a Legal Aid and Private Client basis. Andrew represents client interests and advises from the point of arrest and detention in Garda custody through to the preferring of criminal charges and appearance before the Court. (Please see our Section entitled Arrest and Advices in Garda Custody). Andrew appears before the Courts on a daily basis, predominantly before the District Courts throughout Leinster and the Circuit Criminal Court, where he is experienced in both bail and custody matters. Andrew has a particular interest in the area of Juvenile Justice and deals with matters before the Children's Court.

Annemarie Mulhall

I have been a PALS LLP since the practice formed in 1993 and prior to then worked with Sheridan & Kenny, Solicitors in Sallynoggin one of the founding practices. As the Manager, I have responsibility for administration, accounts and HR. When things go wrong I fix it.

Aoibhe Ward

I studied law at NUI Galway and recently completed a postgraduate degree in European Public Affairs and Law from UCD. I have all my FE1 exams passed and hope to qualify as a solicitor in the future.

Brian Tunney

I joined the firm in 2019 as a trainee solicitor. I attended University College Dublin where I attained a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Law (BCL) and subsequently completed a Master's in Criminology at Dublin Institute of Technology. Upon completion of my studies, I spent 7 years working in the US where I gained experience in a wide range of legal fields, including family law, banking, employment law, insurance defence, medical negligence and civil litigation. I have always held a passion for criminal law and has worked with PALS Circuit Court team since joining the firm. I have also gained considerable experience in conveyancing, wills and probate during my time with the firm. I was awarded Certificates in Commercial Mediation and Technology Law from the Law Society of Ireland, and also completed the Law Society's Street Law Programme, where I taught Transition Year students in a Dublin city centre school about various aspects of criminal law.

Christopher Murray

Janice McCarthy

I support Susan Gray and handle her files. I care for her clients who are mostly victims of accidents seeking compensation. I started my career in the retail industry and remained in this sector for nearly 22 years. During this time I received a distinction in Training & Development at the University of Limerick. I worked for a number of years with a Patent and Trademark attorney and then moved on to the medical sector in an administrative role, working in a hospital and clinic. I have always had an interest in the legal profession, so I was particularly excited to join the team at PALS LLP in 2018.

Justin McKenna

Job Titles:

I acquired the practice of Sheridan & Kenny Solicitors in 1980 and continued the business in Eustace Street, Dublin 2 where it had been established in 1879, before moving it to Dun Laoghaire in 1983. It was then amalgamated in 1993. I served as President of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association 1995/1996 and chaired various committees including the Probate and Tax and Conveyancing Committees. I spent 7 years on the Council of the Law Society of Ireland (LSI) serving in that time as chairman of many of its committees including education, practice management, younger members and Probate Administration and Trusts Committee. I am a Notary Public which is an independent office apart from the firm. Presently, I sit as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Notaries Public of Ireland. Justin McKenna has recently retired as a partner but continues to work as a consultant to the practice.​

Louise Farrelly

I have worked with PALS LLP since 2004. I am engaged exclusively in the area of conveyancing where I support Cilian McKenna. My function is to get the deal over the line. I connect with the client at the start of a transaction and maintain regular contact until completion.

Mark Curtin

Job Titles:

I joined Partners at Law in 2019 as a trainee solicitor. Since then, I have worked with the Conveyancing and Probate teams, which has given me the opportunity to develop my knowledge in residential and commercial property transactions, landlord and tenant matters, as well as trusts, and the administration of estates. I hold a BA in Hotel Management and, prior to working at PALS, I worked for 15 years in the hospitality industry in Ireland and abroad. In 2018, I obtained a postgraduate diploma in law at the Dublin Institute of Technology. I am currently completing the Professional Practice Course at the Law Society of Ireland, and will qualify in November 2022

Paula Kane

In a solicitor's office the production of paper takes the shape of files, deeds, affidavits, statutory declarations, legal documents, briefs, pleadings and the rest. Every piece of paper must have a home and I'm the one who knows where to find it.

Rhona Logan

Ronald Lynam

I have practised in Dun Laoghaire all my professional life. I set up in 1981 under the title RJ Lynam & Co Solicitors before amalgamating with Partners at Law LLP in 1993. We have built up one of the most substantial criminal law practices in the Republic of Ireland.

Ruth Kelliher

I joined the PALS LLP team as a Trainee Solicitor in November 2021. I am a graduate of NUI Galway, holding a Bachelor of Civil Law degree and a graduate of University College Cork where I completed an LLM in Children's Rights and Family Law. As a Trainee with PALS LLP I have the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the areas of Civil Litigation, Criminal Defence, Conveyancing and Probate. I have a particular interest Environmental Law, Immigration and Children's Rights.
