John was educated at St Patrick College, and gained his degree through the Ballarat University (Now Federation University). Having been previously employed in a wide range of industries, John joined the firm of Prowse, Cook and Perrin in 1981. He was a partner in the firm, subsequently renamed Prowse, Perrin and Twomey, from 1983 until 2012 at which time the firm was rebranded as TRG Accountants and moved to 1220 Sturt St Ballarat. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and is a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Taxation Institute. He has also served two terms as Chair of the Ballarat Branch of CPA Australia. Through his extensive experience in Public Practice, John enjoys helping clients with Succession and Estate Planning and the provision of general business advice. He also serves on a number of Management and Finance Committee for clients and not-for-profit organizations.
