Linda is both a professional artist, and a highly experienced teacher. Linda has focused on teaching art from the pre-school level up through university classes.
In the past decade she has increasingly sought to bring her experiential approach to art teaching - focusing on creativity more than on technical skills - into the realm of learning for children with learning disabilities.
Linda strongly believes that many children with differentiated learning needs are highly talented, but cannot learn by the more conventional methods that traditional education, and even traditional special education employ.
While 4Play TM was initially conceived as an interactive musical sculpture, Linda quickly realized that its greatest value was as a teaching tool.
She has used 4Play TM with the special education class of 9 to 12 year olds to whom she was teaching English, and the results were amazing.
