The College of Central London is a private college of further and higher education, established in 1968 and celebrating 55 years' service this year. We started small and rapidly grew and during the peak years in the late 1970's the college had more than 1000 students at any one time spread across a number of buildings including above the famous 100 club in Oxford street. Many Friday evening meetings were cut short by the jazz sounds drifting up from downstairs. We later consolidated in Tottenham Court Road staying there for 18 years before moving to Great Eastern Street near Old St. Since then we have moved a number of times, each occasion to a smaller property. We are now happy in our present modern building near the iconic Tower Bridge...
