James Joyce Suite

James Joyce Suite is Dublin's largest 5 Star Suite. James Joyce, born in Dublin on February 2nd, 1882, left an admirable legacy as an Irish novelist, short story writer and poet. In 1904, he rented the front upstairs room of No. 60 Shelbourne Road, Ballsbridge from a family called McKernan for a short period. It was from this house that, on 16 June 1904, he set out for a rendezvous with Nora Barnacle, later to be his wife. He commemorated this date by choosing it as the day on which the action of his novel, Ulysses, takes place. The James Joyce Suite is InterContinental Dublin's largest and most spectacular suit. Boasting 250 square metres/2691 square feet, the suite can be booked as a one bedroom suite or guests may choose for it to be a three bedroom suite, making it the most spacious suite in Dublin. Lady Gregory Suite

Once described as "the greatest living Irishwoman" by George Bernard Shaw, Lady Augusta Gregory was an iconic woman who played an important part in reviving interest in Irish literature. In 1904, Lady Gregory co-founded the Abbey Theatre alongside lifelong friend and Nobel Prize Winner, W.B Yeats. Besides being the co-founder of Ireland's National Theatre, Lady Gregory was a well-known Irish dramatist and folklorist who produced numerous books of retellings of stories taken from Irish Mythology. The luxurious Lady Gregory Suite offers a magnificent 165 square meters/1776 square feet, residential style living space.
