Marie Cunningham Enterprises, was established in 1986 by Marie Cunningham and incorporated primarily as a commercial floor covering business. Shortly thereafter, the Company was certified as a Women Business Enterprise during the administration of Wilson Goode. The Company began to successfully compete in the opportunities made available by the City of Philadelphia... For many years, the Company held city-wide contracts and have worked extensively for all the departments of the City. Some more notable projects include the carpeting of the many judicial chambers and courtrooms in City Hall, the extensive carpet project in the Municipal Services Building for the Department of License and Inspection, the carpet renovation project for the Main Circulation Area in the Central Library and the Philadelphia International Airport.
