Steinbach Provision Co., is a Chicago, Illinois based meat purveyor that has been servicing the Chicago-land area for over ninety years. We specialize in providing the highest quality meat products in various forms and grades to a wide range of clients, including some of this city's best restaurants, small, and large businesses... It all began in the 1800's back in Germany. Frank Steinbach, the son of a German butcher, learned how to cut and bone meat. Immigrating to the United States in the early 1900's, he came to Chicago because he heard "that's where the cows are". Moving to Chicago, he started Steinbach Provision Co. in the heart of the Chicago Union Stockyards.
