Caroline's route to selling homes only began after working as a cabin crew attendant and then phlebotomist. Both these roles required a huge commitment to care and duty and in turn, this provided the perfect CV for a new role as a sales advisor at Broadacres. Like Elaine, Caroline enjoys the fact that the team is given time to do the job properly in a relaxed, but professional atmosphere. She says spending time with people is the bit she loves the most, but she also loves the product and is very proud to sell something she truly believes in.
Elaine started her career in 1990 with a major private sector new build housing developer. 16 years later, she began a 14-year role with another major housebuilder. In 2022, Elaine was tempted by an advert for a new home sales advisor at Broadacres and has never looked back. She especially enjoys the fact that the company places great emphasis on care - and feels cared for in the process. This, together with the unhurried approach to getting the right result, is a refreshing change of pace for Elaine, and that rewards her with a genuine sense of job satisfaction.
Kath joined us in 2011 in our human resources department. She thoroughly enjoyed supporting the wider team, but when a post became vacant for a sales co-ordinator, she decided to see if her people skills would be enough for a change of career. Indeed they were! Kath is now our resident expert in shared ownership and has an amazing relationship with our homebuyers from day one. What does she really enjoy about the job? In a word, satisfaction. There is nothing better than helping someone to their ‘moving in' day, when they'd given up all hope of owning their own home.
Maria began her career in the housing sector in 1989 and has worked in sales and marketing departments for market-leading national housebuilders, not-for-profit retirement village operators and housing association providers. In her own words, Maria says she has now found her forever ‘home' in the business, working as the sales and marketing manager for Mulberry Homes Yorkshire and Broadacres Housing Association. She loves the dedication of the team, the quality of the homes and the value you get out of helping people find the home they want.
