CARBONCARE INNOLAB

Jockey Club CarbonCare Open Innovation Lab (JC COIL) is a CarbonCare InnoLab programme funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It is a unique attempt to create the first multi-sector Open Innovation Community in Hong Kong with a sustainability focus. Jockey Club COIL emphasises three "I"s - "Inspire", "Interact" and "Innovate". Its members will be drawn from university faculties, business, civil society groups and social entrepreneurs who have relevant technical expertise, business needs and passion to develop innovative solutions in response to the sustainability challenges. They will be facilitated to form various InnoTeams to focus on inspiring ideas and be guided through a process of Conception, Team-building, Development, Consolidation and Realisation, with the support of mentors and experts. This is designed to produce high-impact solutions that can be put into practice at both business and community levels.
