Anthony Yoo - Chief Legal Officer, SVP

Anthony Yoo is Grace's Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. He is responsible for overseeing all global legal matters as well as managing the legal department. He also serves as the company's Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. He joined Grace in March 2022. Anthony came to Grace with more than 25 years of legal experience at Fortune 500 companies and leading law firms. Prior to joining Grace, he worked at Danaher Corporation for 10 years and held a variety of roles, including Vice President and General Counsel of Leica Biosystems and Mammotome. Before joining Danaher Corporation, he held positions at Altria Group; Covington & Burling; and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. Throughout his career, Anthony has gained skills and knowledge in counseling and leading strategic initiatives, including corporate responsibility programs; compliance and enterprise risk management programs; environmental and chemical regulation; litigation support and management; patent and trademark portfolio management, and contracts management. His skillset, along with his work in the chemical, industrial and healthcare spaces, made him the perfect fit for Grace as the company continues its transformation journey. Anthony has a bachelor's degree in chemistry with honors and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia.

Brenda Kelly

Job Titles:

Brenda Kelly joined Grace in 2021 and was named President of Grace's Materials Technologies business in January 2024. In her role, she leads the company's fine chemical contract development and manufacturing services for custom active pharmaceutical ingredients, regulatory starting materials, and intermediates as well as the specialty materials portfolio, including silica-based and silica-alumina-based products used in a broad array of consumer, pharmaceutical, chemical processes, and coatings applications. Prior to this role, Brenda was Vice President, Marketing for Materials Technologies, where she led the team in strategic planning initiatives and market activations across 30+ market segments. Before joining Grace, Brenda was Vice President of Marketing & Commercial Excellence at Oldcastle Building Envelope, a CRH Company, where she led commercial continuous improvement initiatives and marketing for a $3.5 billion company specializing in architectural glass, aluminum glazing systems and hardware. Earlier in her career, Brenda spent over 20 years in the specialty chemicals industry, at both FMC and DuPont, in a variety of leadership positions across sales, marketing and strategic planning. She expanded her scope of responsibility while at DuPont to include leading global business operations for the company's Nutrition & Health, Emulsifiers & Sweeteners business unit based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Brenda brings extensive experience building global teams, executing business strategy, driving growth opportunities, and managing high-performing operations. Brenda earned a bachelor's degree Agricultural Economics with honors from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Dan Pate - SVP

Dan Pate was appointed Senior Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Integration in March 2022 and is responsible for leading Grace's global strategy and growth process. Dan has spent his career in finance delivering better business outcomes across multiple industries. Dan joined Grace in 2009 as Vice President of Finance and was appointed to the board of the ART joint venture. During his tenure at Grace he has held key roles in financial operations supporting the business units, operations and supply chain, as well as corporate FP&A. Prior to joining Grace, Dan served as Vice President of Finance at JDSU where he led the business unit finance organization. He also was Director of Finance for Dell where he helped establish services as a business and was the Director of Corporate FP&A. The first 16 years of his career were with IBM where he held positions of increasing responsibility across multiple business units, including CFO of its education software business. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University.

Ed Sparks - CEO

Ed Sparks joined Grace as Chief Executive Officer in April 2023, as the company moves toward becoming the world's leading specialty chemicals company. Prior to joining Grace, Ed was President, Titanium Technology and Chemical Solutions, a division of The Chemours Company. He joined Chemours in 2015 and held a variety of leadership positions including being named President, Chemical Solutions at Chemours in 2018 and President, Fluoroproducts & Chemical Solutions in 2019. Prior to joining Chemours, Ed spent 21 years at DuPont in a variety of roles across operations, technology, strategy sales and commercial leadership. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He became an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional in 2011 and previously served on the board of directors for the National Association of Manufacturers, and the American Coatings Association as well as the United Way of Southern Chester County, leading fundraising campaigns for education and crisis intervention programs.

Kerrie L. Wolfe

Kerrie L. Wolfe was appointed Grace's SVP Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in January 2022. She joined Grace in 2016 as Senior Director, HR Business Partner for Global Corporate functions where she led talent initiatives, including talent & succession planning, strategic workforce planning and delivered on two significant organization transformations. In 2018, Kerrie was named Vice President, Total Rewards and Shared Services. In this role, she served as the deputy to the Chief Human Resources Officer, and Vice President of executive compensation and benefits, payroll and HR information systems, and Shared Services. She was instrumental in the implementation of Success Factors, Grace's HR software that centralizes and improves all management and employee capabilities. In early 2021, she also assumed responsibility for Grace's Talent Processes. Kerrie came to Grace from The Hershey Company, where she held HR leadership roles for over 14 years, leading global HR talent initiatives including talent & succession planning, strategic workforce planning, talent assessment and leadership coaching. Before joining The Hershey Company as a Compensation Service Manager, she also built a strong foundation in a variety of HR disciplines at Towers Watson, ExxonMobil and Concert (AT&T/British Telecom Global Venture). Kerrie graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

Luis Cirihal

Luis Cirihal joined Grace in May 2023 as President of Refining Technologies. Prior to Grace, Luis spent more than three decades at Dow Chemical, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as President, Univation Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow, achieving record levels of growth and performance. Prior to this role, Luis led multiple businesses within Dow's Packaging and Specialty Plastics portfolio, was responsible for large-scale business development projects, and was involved in and led multiple merger and acquisition transactions including the formation, dissolution, and management of joint ventures. Luis earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin where he serves as a member of the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering External Advisory Council.

Mark Cluff

Mark Cluff has over 20 years of experience driving enterprise transformation in operational and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) excellence across global and national manufacturing and energy infrastructure organizations. As President, Global Operations and Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality (EHSSQ), Mark oversees the company's manufacturing, engineering, capital execution and EHSSQ functions. Under his leadership, since joining in 2023, Grace has seen significant operational and safety performance results. Prior to Grace, Mark worked eight years with the Williams Companies, spending over six years as a corporate officer and Vice President, Safety and Operational Excellence. Under Mark's leadership, Williams saw a significant reduction in process safety incidents and the lowest incident rate in employee injuries and preventable motor vehicle incidents in many years. Before joining Williams and for 15 years, Mark led roles of progressive responsibility in operations for DuPont in several different businesses and manufacturing locations, culminating his career with the chemical company as Plant Manager for one of their key sites. During his tenure as Plant Manager, Mark led the 350+ person site in achieving world-class safety performance including more than 700 days without an employee recordable. Mark's early career experience includes time in project management with ExxonMobil Chemicals and a co-op with the Dow Chemical Company's Midland, MI and Freeport, TX mega sites. Mark earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. He is an active member of the Manufacturers Alliance and participates in several industry EHS forums. Mark is active in his community and faith and has served on the Indian Nations Council board for the Boy Scouts of America as well as a diocese leader for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Michael Brown - CFO, SVP

Michael Brown was named Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Information Technology in June 2022. Michael joined Grace in 1999 and has held several significant leadership roles in the growth and transformation of the company over the last 20 years, including the 2016 tax-free spin-off of Grace's Construction Products and Packaging businesses; the consolidation and reorganization of the global finance and information technology organizations following the spin; the development of the shared services center in Manila; and numerous acquisitions and divestitures. Michael has a wide range of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and controllership as well as leading transformation and system implementation projects. Michael was most recently Vice President, Controller with a significant role in the merger with Standard Industries and process transformation as the company moved from public to private. Prior to joining Grace, Michael held finance leadership roles at MedStar Health and KPMG. Michael earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Loyola University, Maryland.
