She worked at the Animal Law Center gaining experience in a variety of areas of law prior to starting at the Colorado State Public Defender's Office in 2011. Jessica worked at the Public Defender's Office in Arapahoe County for five years prior to starting her own law practice. Jessica is a highly experienced trial attorney that has worked on all types of criminal cases. During her five years at the Public Defender's Office she successfully litigated numerous criminal cases from traffic and misdemeanors to serious felonies including crimes of violence, sexual assaults, and murder. Her vast trial experience includes murder, first degree assaults, second degree assaults, third degree assaults, aggravated robberies, kidnapping, felony menacings, menacing, burglary, sexual assault on a child, child abuse, child abuse resulting in SBI, domestic violences, vehicular assaults, traffic offenses, and DUIs.
