With a Master of Science in Marine Engineering and Engineering in Steel Construction at universities in Gdynia, Adam has worked as technical management and as superintendents for over 20 years in countries such as Belgium and Poland. Recently he has worked as Company Technical Auditor with Siem Ship Management in Poland. He is fluent in Polish, English and Russian.
Denis Mc Auliffe is our contracted IT manager since 2006. With over 15 years of experience in the sector, Denis manages and oversees the ICT infrastructure in our offices and on our ships. His wide knowledge on the IT systems ensures the daily running and performance of our network. Denis efficiently identifies and solves technical issues related to the IT department, in addition manages programmes within schedule and budget constraints. He currently holds qualifications with Microsoft & Cisco.

Gabriel, qualified as an electrician in 1979 working for H.R. Holfeld, Hydraulic engineers in Dublin. In 1981 he joined the Irish Naval Service as an Electrical Artificer where he spent the next 20 years both afloat and ashore in a technical working environment ranging from electronic maintenance, ROV operations and weapons control systems. In 2003 he set up his own business working successfully in the commercial marine sector designing and installing electronic installations for commercial vessels. This included full specifications for pilot, wind farm crew transfer, fishing and hydrographic vessels. In January 2013 he was contracted by Maritime Management to install and complete a Kongsberg EM302 Hydrographic installation on an exploration vessel in Turkey. After this very successful venture he has remained with Maritime Management to date and has worked on electrical design and installation management on several major projects onboard E/V Nautilus including the recent installation of controls and systems of its new main engine.
Gillian joined Maritime Management in February 2009 and is responsible for the finance and accounting function within the company. She is Irish and previously worked for over 12 years in the accounts and administration departments in one of Ireland's largest motor dealerships.
Ivan graduated from Odessa High Marine Academy with the highest level of Qualification - Master Degree of Navigation. He first sailed at sea in 1999. In 2005 he held the Chief Officer Ticket. More than 8 years of experience at sea on Reefer, Dry Cargo and Container vessels with mixed crews. In 2007 he led the Crewing Agency office in Odess, Ukraine. Ivan is a key player in sourcing, providing and the support of our most important assets - our crew. From our office in Odessa, he vets new recruits, looks after visa applications, crew rotation and planning, travel and preparation of crew before joining vessels. His personal touch with crew is integral to our very high retention of experienced crew. He speaks Russian, Ukrainian and English.

John has been in the marine business from an early age as a young seafarer to marine engineer, naval architect, ship surveyor and project manager for over forty years.
He is the member of the board of Directors of the European Community Ship-Owners Association (ECSA) and was Irish representative at the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS). He has also represented the Irish shipping industry on National bodies such the Development Task Force for the Government's Marine Coordination Group, briefing stakeholders on the value of the shipping industry, promoting its development and national interest in Ireland.
He served as consultant on an approval panel for the Irish Marine Institute Wave Energy Test Site, and works closely with Ocean Exploration Trust for the development of the Nautilus Project in USA. Whilst working as Ship surveyor with Lloyd's Register for 16 years, he pioneered the role of Marine Projects Manager in Istanbul in 1995/2001.
He is a Chartered Marine Engineer and holds a BEng (Hons) in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding. He is also a Lead Assessor for ISO9000. John is ex-Chairman of the Dublin branch of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and continues top play an active role. He has been Technical and Regulatory Advisor to the Federation of Irish Fishermen (FIF) and member of the board of the Irish Turkish Business Association (ITBA).
Through Maritime Management, he has developed strong relationships with the Scientific exploration/oceanographic community in USA and Canada and long standing connections in the Turkish shipbuilding and design/repair sector.

Macdara is the newest and youngest member with Maritime Management. He has a BEng Degree in Marine Electrotechnology with Distinction at National Maritime College of Ireland (CIT). Before joining us, as late as March 2021 he was working with Irish Mainport Holdings assisting with dry dock duties, upgrading onboard DV systems and satellite communications. From 2018-2020 he also worked with Princess Cruises maintaining everything from circuit breakers and HV generators to general motors and essential equipment functioning. He is currently working onboard E/V Nautilus executing similar tasks as well as navigations management.

Rohan started his career at sea with Common Bros. Management of Newcastle On Tyne as a deck cadet. He was working full time at sea until 1998 in various capacities up to and including Master and specialised in Tall Ships including the Irish sail training vessel ASGARD II. Since then he has been involved in Marine Consultancy and Surveying as well as continuing to serve at sea in various vessels as Master on short term contracts. He has also been involved in training merchant navy personnel in various short courses to STCW 95 standards. Rohan has worked full time with Maritime Management since March 2010, specialising in QHSE management, monitoring and development. He continues to keep us up to date on all aspects of the rigorous regulatory compliances for operation in USA and Canadian waters. He is a competent and experienced ship surveyor.

Theresa is a Business Professional with over 27 years experience, and has worked for 3 nationally recognised companies in the UK as Office Junior Secretary and Customer Services/Sales. Theresa moved to Ireland in 1998 and was employed by 2 Architectural Companies as Personal Assistant/Office Manager as well as Administrator for a Charity before joining Maritime Management. Theresa manages the purchasing department and all non crew travel and general office management.
Thye Irish Maritime Development Office, IMDO, was set up by government to facilitate the growth of and to encourage the setting up of new shipping businesses in Ireland. There is a positive disposition of Government towards the maritime industry and there is easy access to the government ministers through the IMDO and the Irish Chamber of Shipping
