Dr. Claudia Chavez earned his medical degree from The Autonomous University of Baja California. She will provide you with recommendations for food choices, portion sizes and eating behaviours, ensuring you maintain a nutritious diet specific for your choice of surgery. Dr. Jaime Ponce de Leon Palomares

Dr. Jaime Ponce de Leon, is the medical director of Mexico Bariatricsā€˜ weight loss program. Dr. Ponce de Leon is a leading weight-loss surgeon in Mexico with extensive clinical experience, more than 22 years of practice, and is board-certified in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Jesus Santiago Sanchez is a certified anesthesiologist responsible for keeping you safe and comfortable during and after your bariatric surgery. With over 15 years of experience, he is trained to administer and manage anesthesia given during your bariatric surgical procedure. Dr. Santiago Sanchez earned his medical degree from The Autonomous University of Sinaloa, and received his certification in anesthesiology in 1997. Dr. Sanchez is also responsible for managing and treating changes in your critical life functions - breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure - as they are affected by the surgery being performed. Further, he immediately diagnose and treat any medical problems that might arise during and immediately after surgery. Prior to surgery, Dr. Santiago Sanchez will evaluate the patient's medical condition and formulate an anesthetic plan which takes the patient's physical condition into account.
