Andy Kirchin

Andy has over 35 years' experience in energy consulting services. He is a geophysicist by background but has specialised in leading multidisciplinary projects for much of his career. Having returned to the UK after more than a decade in Houston where he led the Technical, Training and Advisory Division, Andy has joined the RPS Energy Transition Leadership Team focusing on the establishment of a subsurface consulting practice incorporating solutions in Energy Transition (CCS, Geothermal, Hydrogen and Storage) as we support our clients to thrive in a low-carbon economy.

Jim Bradly

Job Titles:
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Operations Director Technical, Training and Advisory - EAME
Jim is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Petroleum Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the international oil and gas industry and, more recently, activities related to the Energy Transition, including Carbon Capture and Storage. Jim has a wide range of skills and experience in service sector field operations and reservoir engineering consultancy roles, including Competent Persons Reporting (CPR), Reserves and Storage Capacity evaluations, Technical and Commercial Due Diligence, Equity and Redetermination issues and Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions Audits. As Operations Director, Jim is responsible for all consulting activity globally within RPS' energy advisory team, including project management, quality assurance, technical peer review, project tendering, resourcing and staff development.

Orrin Foster

  • Technical Director, Geophysical Operations
Orrin has over 20 years of experience in seismic operations in the western Canadian sedimentary basin. Orrin began his seismic career as a land surveyor in supervisory roles on many 2D, 3D and 4D seismic programs for oil and gas and mining applications. After 12 years in the field, Orrin joined RPS in 2012 in the role of Operations Coordinator. Orrin assumed the role of Geophysical Operations Manager in 2014. During his time at RPS has managed over 3000 sq km's of 3D/4D and over 1100 linear km of 2D seismic programs safely and efficiently for his clients across Canada. In addition to his primary commitments, Orrin is active in the seismic industry as a volunteer. Currently, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors, where he helps shape the future of seismic safety and regulatory process in Canada. In addition, Orrin maintains strong relationships with subcontractors, which support the successful delivery of programs in diverse and unique environments. Orrin leads a fully integrated, globally experienced team that provides clients with a knowledgeable, pragmatic approach to project management. Orrin and his team are committed to sustainability and reducing seismic footprints for our clients. We achieve this through the integration of industry best practices and strict environmental and social governance. This approach allows the client a complete understanding of the true costs of an exploration project from inception to completion based on in-field experience and integration of the seismic industries newest technologies.
