CU PHOSCO - Key Persons
After a career spanning 25 years in the stainless steel industry of which 15 years were spent in the Far East and 3 years in Paris, Andy joined CU Phosco's export team at the start of 2015 to develop sales in Asia Pacific and North and South America.
Andy's two great passions outside of work and family are food and sport. He loves cooking and enjoys all different types of food from around the world. Hence, working on export is ideal! Andy says a love of food means that you need to keep active. In his younger days, rugby and squash were a big part of his life. Nowadays, he is more of a spectator with a few visits to the gym to maintain a clear conscience!!
Having worked for CU Phosco Lighting as a sub-contractor since the mid-1990s, Andy joined the Contract Services Division in 2017.
Andy is very passionate about the Highway Electrical industry generally and resides on committees for both the HEA and ILP.

Ben joined us in February 2024 as our brand-new National Accounts Manager.
With over 15 years of experience in the lighting industry, which includes being one of the first members of the Institution of Lighting Professionals 'Young Lighting Professionals', his role will see him developing key accounts and major stakeholders within our UK business.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, especially taking his daughter horse-riding.
As Contracts Director, Bob actively participates in the direction of the business through the management board. As a strong motivator, he leads a team that delivers high mast installation and maintenance projects throughout the UK, working in many diverse environments that span from highways and sports stadia to airports and ports.
Bob's no-nonsense attitude, analytical approach, and a keen interest in environmental and safety issues ensure that the company complies with current legislation. He has served on the HEA council for five years and until recently on the H&S committee.
In his spare time (when he gets some), Bob enjoys walking his Jack Russell Titch in the Yorkshire dales, travelling in particular to Spain, socialising with family/friends (occasionally with a pint of Black Sheep). He takes a keen interest in Rugby Union and Cricket.

Cheryl joined CU Phosco in 2001 as the afternoon Receptionist. In 2014, she joined the sales team full time.
Cheryl spends a lot of her spare time walking her two dogs Milly and Ted, and enjoys baking, socialising and spending time with family and friends.
Clare joined CU Phosco Lighting in May 2023 taking on the role of Head of Marketing.
With over 23 years' experience in multiple sectors including manufacturing, services and retail, Clare has covered both business to consumer and business to business marketing in roles across all areas of the marketing mix, from brand, digital marketing, events, client account management and PR.
Outside of work, Clare is kept busy with two young sons and her much-loved cockapoo, Louis. When she is not at work or with her family, she can be found at a group fitness class. Favourites include boxing, weights, Clubbercise and PoundFit.

Denise comes from a secretarial/admin/Management background and joined the Export department of CU Phosco Lighting in September 2019. This was a new area for Denise which she found very interesting and learnt a lot about. However, due to internal re-organisation, Denise is now a member of the Home Sales Team, which she is really enjoying, it being very varied with two days rarely the same.
Outside of work Denise is a very proud Nanny and loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys walking, reading and holidays.
Dino started working at CU Phosco Lighting in 2009 as an Electrician, before working up through the ranks. He is now one of our Contracts Managers.
Dino's motivation comes from his kids and, in his spare time, he tries to do lots with them. He is an avid scooterist and loves to fish and shoot but taking his Grandads scooter (from Italy) to the Isle of Wight was the icing on the cake, priceless.

Greta joined CU Phosco Lighting in 2006, initially selling Street Furniture and then, in 2008, moved to Street Lighting sales.
Outside of work she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her family and friends.

James joined CU Phosco Lighting as National Accounts Manager for the South in March 2024. Prior to this, he spent just over 10 years in electrical wholesale, spanning across a number of roles and locations, both at national and regional levels.
Away from the business, James enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, particularly at the Rugby (Union not League!). He also enjoys the occasional road trip to scenic new places with the music played loud. James is heavily involved in the world of Events, regularly carrying our festival security and stewarding work in his spare time.

Kevin has been the Area Sales Manager for South Wales/South West with CU Phosco since 2007. He has extensive experience within the street lighting market industry, starting in the mid-1990s.
During his career, Kevin has held various roles including Procurement Manager for a major Street Lighting Distributor which has further help developed his understanding on the overall dynamics of the industry.
One of Kevin's claims to fame is having cycled over a 1000 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats for the Motor Neuron Disease charity. In is spare time, he is an avid skier and is a long suffering Cardiff City supporter.
Lauren joined CU Phosco Lighting in 2019 on reception, and in 2021 joined the Export department.
She is a self-proclaimed foodie, Lauren likes to try different restaurants from around the world. After indulging in all that food she like to keep fit by going to the gym!
Lee has been in the lighting industry all of his working life. He first joined CU Phsoco Lighting in 1989 as an apprentice draughtsman then in 1999 joined the export department. Lee has worked in many countries including Middle East, Africa and Japan on sports stadiums, airports and seaport sites.
Lee is a keen photographer and loves to go for walks in his spare time with the family capturing some snaps along the way of the beautiful British countryside.
Marshall started working for CU Phosco Lighting in 2016 working as an admin for the Westgate site, before moving into the sales team.
Marshall loves sport, and plays cricket for Hartshead Moor Cricket Club (sponsored by CU Phosco), and he loves his time at the gym, too. When at home he loves to play on the Xbox with friends and family.

Matt joined CU Phosco Lighting in 2001 as an Area Sales Manager after a 15-year career in electrical wholesaling, spanning many roles and locations both nationally and at local levels. In 2006, Matt became Sales and Marketing Director and developed a successful and well-respected team within the industry.
Away from the business, Matt can be found walking the beautiful countryside in the areas around his home near Bristol and Bath with the family and their dogs. A die-hard West Ham United and motorcycle racing fan especially MotoGP and the legendary Valentino Rossi. Music is also a big part of his life with favourite beats of Ska, Reggae and Indie music.

Mike has been in the Street Lighting Industry for some 30 years and was very honoured to be HEA chair in 2006. Having worked in several alternative product markets, Mike says it was a huge pleasure to join the CU Phosco Lighting team in 2019 to support offering ‘World Class' products.

Nick has worked in the lighting industry since 1998 and has been with CU Phosco Lighting since 2018.
Nick is a Tottenham season ticket holder and, prior to Covid-19, would travel to away games, too (sorry if you support another London club). He loves to travel and his favourite destination is the Island of Rhodes.

Nickie is a versatile team member with a degree in History of Art and Architecture, and qualifications in Marketing and Graphic Design. As a communications and brand designer, she excels in crafting visual identities through a combination of strategic and conceptual thinking.

Pauk has been working in the lighting industry for over 40 years, after spending 29 years at Mode Lighting working on interior lighting, he joined CU Phosco Lighting in 2011 to develop all the LED luminaires enjoying the wide range of varied tasks.
On a personal note, Paul is a very practical person and keen DIYer, unafraid to tackle any task. His late father was a self-employed builder so he learned a lot from him. In his free time he also enjoys plenty of sport - golf, cricket, football, motor racing - watching mainly, he does try playing golf but that needs a lot more practice! Paul's other interests include walking, gardening and music with a wide and varied taste, dad dancing a speciality
Ric started his career in the lighting industry in 2013 after previously working in the energy sector. Over the next 11 years Ric has worked in various supervisory job roles for 2 lighting contracting companies, becoming a Contracts Manager at CU Phosco in March 2024. Ric is client focused and has an extensive knowledge of the lighting industry. He is eager to contribute his skill set to the CU Phosco Lighting Contracts team and learn more about the specialist skills and services that they can offer their clients throughout the UK. Ric will be based in the CU Phosco offices in Richmond North Yorkshire but will be travelling extensively throughout the UK to enhance his knowledge and skills required to work in such a specialist team.
Ric, lives in Co. Durham and has 2 children, Elliot and Lilly. In his spare time Ric enjoys Drone Photography, watching Football (Liverpool fan), DJing and Music Production.

Rob joined CU Phosco Lighting in January 2024, taking on the role of Digital Marketing Executive.
With over six years of marketing experience across the construction and estate agency sectors, Rob has gained invaluable skills in print and digital marketing, campaign building, social media planning and execution, design work and copywriting.
When not at work, Rob likes to keep fit with weightlifting and Muay Thai training in the gym. He's also an avid PC gamer of both MOBA's and MMORPG's, as well as self-taught bass player, with huge pop-punk and rock influences.

Stuart joined CU Phosco Lighting on a sandwich year from University in 2007 and was offered a position on completion of his degree. He has been an integral part of the Services Division ever since.
Outside of work, Stuart is a keen footballer. If he isn't playing, he is coaching or travelling to watch the teams he supports - Aberdeen & Scotland for his sins!! Stuart and his wife, Louise, have two young children (Teddy and Madeline) and a cocker spaniel (Max) who keep them busy.
Victoria joined CU Phosco Lighting Contract Services Division in 2013 after finishing her degree. Now, as the Northern Contracts Manager, Victoria plays an integral role in the organisation and mobilisation of High Mast projects. She is passionate about Lifting Operations and, after completing all her qualifications, takes an active role in the team's specialist lifting activities.
When not at work Victoria enjoys walking her dog, traveling, playing hockey, and spending time in her veg garden.
