Alan Jones

Alan is a highly experienced and qualified energy sector director and manager with over 40 years in the industry. His current role is managing a programme of connection projects and aerial overhead line surveys. Alan has a proven track record of building, developing and improving all aspects of business performance and project management. He is trained and experienced in the management of quality, safety, finance, Six Sigma, project management and operations.

Claire Briody

Job Titles:
  • Head of Business Development
Claire has worked in sales and marketing for many years for a variety of brands, products and services. She joined BPI in 2011 and leads the team in managing a portfolio of existing clients, as well as developing new lines of business. If BPI's services are of interest to you, please get in touch.

Matt Pryor

Job Titles:
  • Engineer
  • Principal Overhead Lines Engineer
Matt is an engineer with extensive design and construction experience in both overhead transmission lines and cables, and has been involved in the electricity supply industry for over 20 years. Matt has previously worked in Australia and New Zealand on HV and EHV overhead line construction projects, responsible for all aspects of design and site interfacing. Since joining BPI Matt has been responsible for leading a design team to deliver 1000 km of 11 and 33kV overhead line replacement schemes in Scotland and Wales.

Viren Sharma

Job Titles:
  • Senior Partner
With over 20 years' experience within the electricity power industry, Viren specialises in power system studies and has been involved in planning, design, tender engineering, project supervision and pre-commissioning and testing of transmission and distribution substations. In addition he has been responsible for the strategic development of a number of transmission and distribution systems in India, Bhutan, Sudan, Zimbabwe and Zambia. This work required his involvement in the high level negotiations between the major stakeholders of the electricity industry in the aforementioned countries, and ensuring that the companies with which he was involved reached their performance targets.
