BURIEN FAMILY DENTAL CARE - Key Persons
Hi! My name is Bev. I have been a hygienist since 1984 and I really do love my job. I have worked in several offices at different locations over the years, including Victoria BC, Canada; North Bend, WA; Buckley, WA; and even for a periodontist in Tacoma. I met Dr. Lee while working in Buckley and followed him to Burien Family Dental Care. He is a wonderful dentist and I love his staff.
When not working, I can be found traveling, hiking, biking, playing pickleball, playing piano, hanging out with my grandkids and family, and squeezing as many adventures as I can into my very full life.
Dr. Annie Geng is an exemplary dentist who caters to the oral needs of the population of Burien, WA. She completed her bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, Canada and her dental degree from Boston University. Currently, she performs her expertise at Burien Family Dental Care.
Dr. Geng holds active memberships in the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Apart from her professional work, she has volunteered as an oral health screener in the Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association. Patients visit Dr. Geng for a wide spectrum of common and specialized dental needs, including dentures, tooth extractions, fillings, tooth decay, and toothaches. She understands the importance of quality care and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to providing such care.
Dr. Lee attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate education. Following graduation, Dr. Lee attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. Having undergone extensive dental treatment because of an accident when he was a child, Dr. Lee understands the anxiety many people feel towards visiting the dentist. Understanding the importance of our patient's comfort, Dr. Lee is always thorough in every procedure he does, being as gentle as possible.
Dr. Lee remains committed to being at the forefront of dental research and development. On average, Dr. Lee spends 50 to 75 hours in continuing education every year, more than what Washington state requires, which is only 24 hours. He is also a clinical host instructor with the Academy of GP orthodontics where general dentists come to his office to advance their studies in orthodontics.
He is an active member of several organizations while also training at several institutions recognized as leaders in the dental community:
American Dental Association
Academy of General Dentistry
King County Dental Society
Academy of GP Orthodontics
Washington State Dental Association
International Congress of Oral Implantalogists
Misch International Implant Institute
Dr. Lee is also an avid believer of volunteering his services. Over the past several years, working with Medical Relief International and Corner of Love, he has traveled to third world countries, from the Philippines to Nicaragua, providing dental services to many who had never seen a dentist before.
Naleen has been in the dental field for seven plus years and is a registered dental assistant in the state of Washington. She received her Dental Assistant degree at Bryman College along with an associate's degree in Business Administration from Green River Community College.
