Greenwich Sports Academy (GSA) was founded in 2011 by Ashley Thomas and Joel Moore. The mission is to promote basketball at all levels within Greenwich; from grassroots to a professional standard; whilst developing and maintaining links with schools and the local community... Greenwich Sports Academy works with able bodied individuals as well as those who are mobility challenged, we have specially qualified staff with a great deal of experience to deal with most situations to ensure that there is benefit for all... The shared ethos is focused solely on the development of basketball. We want to instill the fundamentals required to take players to the next level of the sport, whilst maintaining the enjoyment. By working with the players from an early age we have the ability to identify potential and assist in their development. All our coaches have experience dealing with difficult children as well as children with disabilities.
