The Community School's mission is to support the developmental and educational growth of adolescents and young adults who are on the autism spectrum or who face other related issues, in a program that emphasizes social-emotional development as an essential foundation for complex logical, high-order thinking... The Community School has become a pioneer in serving these previously overlooked individuals - garnering nationwide attention and interest after being featured in a New York Times article and on Good Morning America. We aim to produce a replicable model so that similar individuals all over the country can benefit from the knowledge and techniques taught in our programs...
