Dr. Nick Stavrou - Managing Director

Nick has held numerous, diverse roles in the financial services industry, including positions with Goldman Sachs JBWere, ANZ Bank, National Australia Bank (NAB), and part-time faculty positions at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. Following an Executive Directorship with Goldman Sachs JBWere, Nick joined NAB, advancing through several roles, culminating in his appointment as Global Head of Credit Models with responsibilty for model development, validation, monitoring and implementation throughout NAB's global operations. In 2010, Nick founded the quantitative consulting firm Q-Risk Strategies, continuing to provide expert risk management and strategy advice, along with quantitative services to banks in the Asia Pacific region. After several successful engagements using Quantellia's software and IT expertise, Nick, in partnership with Quantellia's CEO, Mark Zangari, established RFM in response to the intense market need for merging world-class expertise in financial risk management with leading-edge software. Mark Zangari - CTO

Mark Zangari is a veteran of the software industry with more than 25 years experience, having held many research, development, and management positions in several countries. As RFM's co-founder and CTO, he is the chief architect behind our technologies and software solutions. He currently also serves as Chief Executive Officr of Quantellia LLC, having held that position since 2010. He was formerly CTO of SPATIALinfo, Inc. (now Synchronoss Inc.), where he launched the company's US operations and growth into a leading provider of network modeling solutions for the telecommunications and utilities sectors. During the early 1990s, Zangari was principal architect of the STATPLAY software system-a ground-breaking tool that improved the performance of decision makers when reasoning with statistical data. Mr. Zangari holds degrees in physics, philosophy, and computer science. In 1993, he was awarded the British Council Postgraduate Bursary for his research, leading to an advanced physics fellowship at Cambridge University, and co-authored Decision Intelligence: A Primer.
