The rotary and part-turn actuator NEx forms the basis of all actuator variants. Equipped with a synchronous motor it is designed for standard voltage ranges 230 V, 115 V and 24 V; when equipped with a BLDC motor it is suitable for a wide range of voltages. In particular in regions where voltage fluctuations are a problem this motor is especially suitable to guarantee uniformly smooth system operations... NEx actuators (-K, -KA, -V) are certified for deployment in EX zone 1 and zone 2 hazardous areas; they are designed for use in direct contact with potentially explosive atmospheres consisting of a mixture of air and flammable gases, vapours or mists. Consequently, the actuators are deployed in systems that require monitoring, such as in the oil and gas industry including refineries, silos and container technology, in chemical and pharmaceutical plant, in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) applications as well as in power stations.
