Dr. Andy Kalajian

Dr. Andy Kalajian grew up on the east coast of Florida in the town of Melbourne Beach where he enjoyed playing soccer as well as surfing and fishing. An avid Gator fan, Dr. Kalajian graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science with highest honors in Chemical Engineering. He earned his medical degree and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL where he subsequently completed two years of internal medicine residency. He then completed his dermatology residency under the direction of Dr. Jeff Callen at the University of Louisville, serving as Chief Resident in Dermatology in his final year. Dr. Kalajian completed subspecialty training in a Mohs Micrographic Surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville under the direction of Dr. Michael McCall. Dr. Kalajian has a special interest and training in the treatment of skin cancers. He has authored numerous manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kalajian was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology at the University of Louisville prior to he and his family's move to Fort Collins in 2010. Dr. Kalajian and his wife Andrea have two wonderful daughters (Dylan 2010 & Lucy 2014) and love living in Northern Colorado. Upon moving to Fort Collins, Andrea returned to school and earned a PhD in Nutrition Sciences from CSU in 2017. They welcomed a puppy Rupert ‘Rupie' (Coton de Tulear) to the family in 11/19. The family enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and traveling together. Dr. Kalajian also enjoys fishing, reading, and watching college football.

Dr. Bruce Glassman

Dr. Bruce Glassman, a native of Hillside, New Jersey, graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Glassman received his medical degree in 1988 from Tufts University of Medicine. In 1992, Dr. Glassman completed a three-year residency in Dermatology at Brown University, in Providence, Rhode Island. He then performed a one-year fellowship concentrating in Dermatological Surgery at the New England Medical Center in association with Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Glassman has published articles in the Archives of Dermatology and presented research at national meetings. He is a board certified diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology and is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at George Washington Hospital Dr. Glassman is the founding member of Capital Dermatology and has been practicing in the Alexandria medical community since 1994. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the DC Dermatological Society.

Dr. Jay M. Barnett

Dr. Jay M. Barnett graduated magna cum laude from Boston University College of Liberal Arts, and he received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. There he trained at The Boston City Hospital and University Hospital. After completing a three-year internal medicine residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, he completed a three-year residency in dermatology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He became board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Dr. Barnett conducts research and publishes. Some of his articles have appeared in The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, The International Journal of Dermatology, Dermatology Clinics, and The Annals of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine, and is Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Health Sciences at George Washington University. Locally he is on staff at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital; and Montgomery General Hospital, where he has served as the Section Chairman of Dermatology. He is a member of the DC Dermatology Society, and a member of the Montgomery County Medical Society, where he has served as a committee chair and a member of the executive board. Dr. Barnett has been named as one of the area's top doctors in both Washington Consumer Checkbook Magazine and The Washingtonian Magazine.

Dr. Leslie Capin

Dr. Leslie Capin is the founder of Dermatology Associates of Colorado and has been practicing dermatology since 1986 in the Denver area. She is a board-certified dermatologist and received her dermatology training and medical education from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Although Dr. Capin oversees and is medical director of Cara Mia Medical Day Spa, her true passion is general dermatology with a particular interest in rare skin disorders and the complex patient. Dr. Capin is also passionate about education, having started the nation's first Dermatological Nurse Practitioner training program at Regis University. She has served on many boards and advisory councils over the years and is active in the Denver philanthropic community. Dr. Capin has received numerous awards including "Top Doc" in Denver's 5280 magazine, "Top Medical Day Spa" in 5280, Business Women of the Year in Healthcare by the Denver Business Journal and Top 100 Women Owned Businesses in The Denver Business Journal. Dr. Capin is on staff at Parker Adventist and Castle Rock Adventist Hospitals. Dr. Capin completed a two year fellowship in Integrative Medicine in January 2015 under Dr. Andrew Weil from the University of Arizona. Dr. Matt Leavitt, Executive Chairman and Founder of Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is a board-certified dermatologist, hair restoration and hair loss specialist. He is recognized both nationally and internationally as an accomplished physician, surgeon, educator, clinical researcher, lecturer, author and humanitarian. In addition to Advanced Dermatology, Dr. Leavitt also founded Medical Hair Restoration (MHR), a national company for surgical hair transplantation which he grew into the second largest hair restoration practice in the country. Dr. Savina Aneja

Dr. Savina Aneja is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology and accepts patients of all ages. Dr. Aneja received her undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York, NY. Her interest in dermatology developed during medical school at the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Clinic. As a medical student, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She began her residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and concurrently served as a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Harvard Medical School from 2012-2013. In 2016, she completed her dermatology residency training at the University of Texas in Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Aneja's clinical interests include cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer/ cutaneous oncology, and acne. Dr. Tiffany Link earned both an MD and a PhD at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. She completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, Outstanding Graduate, and valedictorian with dual degrees in biochemistry and chemistry with minors in biology and communications. Her doctoral research on human immunology was published in Nature: Immunology and earned her the Michael A. Shanoff Research Award for the top PhD research at Johns Hopkins. Tiffany completed her Internal Medicine Internship at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore and her Dermatology Residency at the University of California, San Diego where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Tiffany has produced multiple publications and lectures, and earned national recognition in collegiate speech and debate. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Colorado Dermatological Society, and the Women's Dermatologic Society. Tiffany and her husband - whose family is native to Colorado - moved to the Front Range to raise their two young children. She fell in love with the area after visiting the church in Estes Park where her in-laws were married. Tiffany believes strong communications skills, empathy and patient rapport help her build lasting patient relationships. In her free time, Tiffany enjoys the outdoors. She has climbed Mount Whitney, completed New Hampshire's infamous Presidential Traverse, jumped out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute on her back and off of a perfectly good bridge attached to a bungee cord.

Mark Kaufmann, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, a position he has held since 1995. He was in solo private practice for 23 years until he joined The Dermatology Group in November 2017. In September 2020, he joined Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery as their Chief Medical Officer. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, completing residency training in dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He is Board Certified in Dermatology. Dr. Kaufmann has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has served on countless AAD committees and has chaired many of them as well. He also serves as an advisor to the Academy RUC team (Relative Value Scale Update Committee) - a position he has held for over a decade. Dr. Kaufmann's contributions to the American Academy of Dermatology have been recognized by his receiving a Presidential Citation in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2020. In April 2020, Dr. Kaufmann was elected Incoming President-Elect of the American Academy of Dermatology. A third-generation Jacksonville native, Dr. Greenfield earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her Osteopathic Medicine degree with honors from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale. She completed a postgraduate year in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and her Dermatology residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY. Dr. Greenfield has been in practice for over 20 years and provides individualized medical care to patients of all ages. Her passion for exercise and a healthy lifestyle often results in her offering nutritional and lifestyle recommendations designed to improve overall patient health based on diagnoses. Murray Cotter

Dr. Cotter grew up in the Detroit area, spending summers in the idyllic Emmet county of northern lower Michigan. After thirteen years of training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) where he received his BS, MD, and PhD degrees, Dr. Cotter took his residency training in Dermatology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and cosmetic dermatology at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF), prior to returning to Michigan to practice. Dr. Cotter is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Cotter is the author of numerous scientific publications, textbook chapters, and holds a US patent. He is very proud to serve the company as Associate Medical Director and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Cotter adheres to what he believes is the Golden rule of medicine: treat each patient as if they were a member of your family.
