National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) felt the need for a focused initiative to provide nutrition support through milk to children from weaker sections, during its Golden Jubilee year 2015-16, the NDDB Foundation for Nutrition (NFN) was set up on 9th October, 2015. NFN is promoted by the NDDB, its subsidiaries (Indian Immunologicals Limited ,IDMC Limited , Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetables Private Limited) and Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation... NFN is registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and as a Trust under the Bombay Public Charitable Trust Act, 1950 as applicable to the state of Gujarat. NFN was registered in October 2015 at Anand, Gujarat... NFN is leveraging the large network of 220 Milk Unions, 31 Marketing Dairies and around 1.94 lakh Dairy Cooperative Societies across India and expertise of NDDB for supply, logistics and monitoring.
