Deano started at Altamura in 2004 and joined the body shop team that was managed by Tom and Steve at the time. In 2007, after Tom and Steve left to set up Image Design Custom, Deano moved on from Altamura to progress his career. 6 years later, the phone rang and Deano was offered a job at Image Design Custom and he's been a proud member of the team ever since. As our head of paint preparation, Deano is an integral part of many a project that goes out the workshop doors.
Elliot joined IDC early in 2020 and is the newest member of the team. Not quite as talented as our super skilled painters, but talented in brand marketing none the less! He worked at Muc-Off for a fair few years, spearheading global campaigns, managing a roster of world class athletes and running a full calendar of events. Elliot commissioned us for plenty of athlete helmets over the past couple of years and couldn't help himself but to eventually join the Image Design Custom dream team!

At the start of 2010 Jack was roughly 2 years into his apprenticeship of car painting. He'd only worked at one body shop so tried a few others until he realised painting cars was definitely not for him. Half way through the decade Jack was given the opportunity to join Image Design Custom and hit the ground running with proven hard work and determination. Now the decade has just finished, Jack is our helmet production manager painting helmets, bikes and other things for some of the best athletes in the world.
Mandy started visiting Tom about 15 years ago, due to her dad being a nosey bugger and telling Tom "Mandy could do that!" She kept popping into the workshop one day a week and started picking Tom's brain, trying to learn all she could. Eventually, Tom saw the potential and gave Mandy a job!! Mandy worked with Tom and Steve at Altamura for 3 years until they decided to leave and set up Image Design Custom, all with the promise of coming back to rescue Mandy one day. It only took them about 7 years, but Mandy eventually got the phone call she had been waiting for. Mandy has now been working at Image Design Custom for the last 5 years and she loves the unique and challenging job everyday!

Pat started early in his career and worked at a body shop
whilst he was still at school. He continued this after he finished,
trying his hand at every aspect of work the body shop had to offer. He moved to another body shop as a fitter, but always felt the lure of painting as his interest grew. Pat moved to sunny Spain for a few years, before returning back to home soil where he got a job at Altamura alongside Mandy. After a shift over to 4th dimension, Pat joined the Image Design Custom team and has been an integral part of the company ever since.
Having grown up spending most of his weekends at race circuits across the UK, whether it be for 2 or 4 wheeled racing, motorsport has always been a huge passion for Sammy. Pair that with the influence of his hugely artistic family and being raised by two graphic designers, it means he really found my dream job working here at Image Design Custom. Since joining the team a year and a half ago, Sammy has been designing some incredible helmets, motorbikes and cars for a wide range of customers and professionals at the very top of their game.
Steve has been a painter ever since he left school and his forte used to be car body repairs. That was Steve's career up until around 2003 when he got made redundant. He worked doing fire alarms for a couple of years to pay the bills and then saw a job at Altamura for a bike painter. After a few years of hard graft, Steve moved up to paint shop manager and met Tom in the process. In 2007, Steve and Tom launched Image Design Custom and the rest is history.
Tom's career started way back in the late 80's when fluorescent colours ruled and mullets were in fashion. Fast forwards a few decades and in 2007, Tom & Steve officially launched Image Design Custom and he hasn't looked back since.
