FIRST STEP FOR YOUTH

Our mission is to provide footwear to underprivileged inner-city youths in communities across the country. And in doing so, help provide them with leadership, guidance, and scholarships towards their "FIRST STEP" to a successful life... I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, where life as a kid wasn't always full of shiny moments and worry free days. Being an inter-city kid growing up, drugs, violence, gangs, and crime was a norm. With a strong hardworking mother and supportive family backing her, I was fortunate enough to escape or not fall victim to the many tragedies of my environment. Thankfully, my life wasn't as hard as most and I had a mother that tried with everything in her to be the supplier of my every need or want. Otherwise, the search for my wants may have turned into needs igniting the quest to find a supplier elsewhere, which may have set the path for an unfavorable future.
