At the base of Leeladhar Organics is an agricultural farm located in a small village of Uttar Pradesh (UP), India. The farm had an initial plantation of Amla trees, and the idea was to grow Amla fruits following organic methods (no chemical fertilizers, pesticides or insecticides). Later on, around 2012, more fruit trees were added to the farm. These include Guava (Psidium guajava), Kinnow (Mandarin hybrid), Ber (Ziziphus Mauritiana), Bael (Aegle marmelos), Karonda (Carissa carandas) and Jamun (Syzygium Cumini). We also started planting other associated shrubs and crops like Desi Rose, Moringa, Aloe Vera,... Since the very beginning, we had decided that we shall not use any chemical-based fertilizers, insecticides or pesticides on our farm. Later, about twelve years back in 2010, we applied for organic certification of our farm.
