The Valentine Project was founded by siblings Gregory and Michaela Margida to cultivate compassion for these children. They discovered that dealing with these diagnoses can be especially lonely for patients and siblings alike, and Valentine's Day - a day that focuses on love - often highlights that loneliness... The Valentine Project is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that works to support children from birth to 21 years whose lives are affected by cancer or chronic illness. The volunteer-driven organization sends one-of-a-kind Valentines filled with love, hope, and joy across the miles to kids in California, Kentucky, and Ohio... The Valentine Project is committed to making sure each child on our list knows they are loved and cherished. We recognize a serious diagnosis affects the entire family, so siblings are included in our outreach. Individuals from around the world are eager to sign up to be your child's Valentine. One of those Valentines will choose to make Valentine's Day..
