Independent Social Worker, Anna Callow, qualified with a Masters in Social Work in 2006. Since this time Anna has worked within Local Authority Adult Social Care Teams and gained the level of Senior Practitioner. Anna joined the Care Advice Centre in 2018 and became Director of the company in 2019. Anna has vast experience with supporting people to make decisions regarding their care and support. Anna has successfully helped many clients with their claims for NHS Continuing Healthcare funding. Anna is a qualified Practice Educator - supporting trainee social workers through their practice placements. This role involves teaching the students the core values and ethics of social work as well as the legislation to which we practice and the theories that guide us. All trainee social workers must meet the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) hosted by the British Association of Social Workers. As a Practice Educator, Anna guides them through attaining these standards.
