Thus, laboratory fittings and emergency shower systems became new business areas for Broen's company back in the 1960's. In 1980 the activities were separated into its own business unit named BROEN-LAB. The unit flourished over the following decades, until it was decided to sell it to Capidea (private equity fund) in 2015. January 2022 BROEN-LAB was acquired by LI Enterprises Group and became part of the Group together with the US-based companies WaterSaver Faucet Co. and Guardian Equipment Inc, both of which are strong, global players within laboratory fittings and emergency shower solutions for professional laboratories, universities, the educational sector, and various industries. BROEN-LAB is operating as an independent company within the Group under its own management... Poul Broen founded his company together with his son in 1948, and it went on to become an industrial leader with strong brands and a worldwide reach.
