Catherine Macken

Catherine specializes in commercial leasing and sales of retail properties in Oakland and Berkeley - representing tenants and landlords alike. Her own history of success started in 2009 when she launched Subrosa Coffee, a start-up venture located in Oakland's Temescal District. She built the business from the ground up - directly managing all aspects of the design, build-out, permitting, lease negotiations, operations, and second location expansion. In 2020 Catherine sold Subrosa to States Coffee, and shortly thereafter began her career in commercial real estate. She enjoys the process of helping clients explore their goals and then working closely with them to make those goals a reality. She especially enjoys surprising clients with what you might call unexpected opportunities. Catherine's creative, community-driven approach is deeply rooted in her educational background - a bachelor's degree from the California College of the Arts.

Courtney Wasserman

Ms. Wasserman joined the firm in 2011. As Operations Manager she is responsible for all office administration. She has worked on a wide variety of projects for Landlord and Tenant clients, including corporate committee packages, tour preparation, market research and tenant canvassing. Resourceful and detail oriented, Ms. Wasserman provides valued support to the firm.

Liz Baker

Ms. Baker joined the firm in 2007. As Creative Director she brings over 20 years of experience in creative strategy to provide seamless in-house marketing and promotional services for both clients and the firm. She is responsible for the design and development of all print, electronic and environmental collateral including tour packages, property brochures, logos, proposals, ads, e-mail campaigns, trade show graphics, websites and signage. She also utilizes specialized industry software to generate market specific aerials and maps. Education Ms. Baker holds a Bachelor of Arts from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, VA.

Tim Seiler

Mr. Seiler joined the firm in 2009 and was named its first Partner in 2016. His primary retailer clients include Smart & Final Extra, El Pollo Loco, Dunkin', Dollar Tree, Advance Auto Parts, Amy's Drive Thru, Wendy's and Fremont Bank. Additionally, Mr. Seiler represents US Realty Partners on the Rheem Valley Shopping Center in Moraga, Evergreen Devco on Ceres Crossing in Ceres (Modesto) and Lewis Retail Centers for Sycamore Crossing in Hercules. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Seiler had a 20+ year career in the shopping center industry, including 10 years as a corporate Real Estate Director specializing in new store development for leading retailers including Kroger and Blockbuster and several years as Vice President, Land Acquisition for a national hotel chain. He also has extensive experience with both public and private shopping center investors and developers in the fields of development, leasing, acquisition and due diligence. Education Mr. Seiler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California, and accreditation from the US Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP™). Affiliations Mr. Seiler has been an active volunteer on the International Council of Shopping Centers Northern California Program Committee since 2000, and served as Chair of the Committee for a three year term, followed by three years as the Northern California State Director. He is also a former board member of X Team Retail Advisors.
