Research and the evidence it generates should be at the core of global policymaking. To this aim, GHPi is dedicated to addressing underserved and important topics through innovative research, application of data science, and policy, law and governance inquiry... GHPi was established in 2014 as an affiliate of UC San Diego and is now organized as a 501(c)(3) also operating as the Global Data Policy Institute. Members of GHPi constitute a diverse group of individuals from academia, government, the private sector, and civil society with real world experience in global health and health policy, law, and governance... We believe that the only way to effectively tackle complex global health problems is through an interdisciplinary lens that embraces multiple areas of study, different stakeholders, and utilizes new and innovative cross-cutting methodologies
