Caroline Richardson was born in Leicestershire, England in 1959. She studied Aeronautical Engineering at Bristol University and then worked designing command and control software. Since then she has taught GCSE science, IT and maths, and provided computer consultancy whilst developing her artistic ability. Caroline studied Glass and Architecture at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London as a postgraduate. She has been interested in glass for many years and has been exploring different ways of using it in an architectural setting. In May of 2007 she was commended for her work in the Stevens Competition. Caroline and her husband live in Essex on the outskirts of London and have three children.
