Updated 414 days ago
JR Biotek Foundation is a charitable organisation established to train, upskill and empower Africa's emerging agricultural research scientists to develop and lead high-impact research that addresses food and nutrition insecurity in African countries. Our vision is to advance research and innovation in African nations by strengthening research capacity to facilitate food and nutrition security, improved human health and environmental sustainability... We design, develop and deliver world-class hands-on scientific training programs, covering key topics in plant molecular biology, genetics and genomics, crop pathology, bioinformatics and statistical data analysis to support African researchers. We mobilize research experts from top world Universities including the University of Cambridge to teach our workshops. Recently, we empowered our alumni (researchers in African research institutions) to teach our 2021 workshops held in Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana. We find this train-the-trainer..
