Adam Erusalimsky is an Investment Manager based in LCM's London office. Adam is a solicitor advocate with over a decade of experience in handling complex commercial litigation cases across different jurisdictions. His deep understanding of the litigation landscape and impressive track record of success is invaluable to LCM and its funded parties. Adam is responsible for sourcing and assessing prospective projects for disputes finance, negotiating terms and funding agreements, and managing investments for LCM in the EMEA region. Adam joined LCM with extensive experience in litigation funding, having previously worked at another global litigation funder as a Senior Investment Officer where he focused on collective redress and group actions, with a particular emphasis on securities litigation and Competition Appeals Tribunal actions in England and class actions in Australia.

Carolina Carlstedt

Carolina Carlstedt is an Investment Manager based in LCM's Singapore office. Carolina is a Hong Kong and English law qualified international arbitration lawyer with significant experience of handling a broad range of commercial disputes and a particular specialisation in construction and engineering matters. With over 10 years of experience across a number of sectors including energy, infrastructure, transport and commercial property, Carolina has a deep understanding of the complexities of disputes resolved via commercial litigation and arbitration. Carolina joined LCM in March 2023. In her role, she sources and assesses prospective projects for disputes finance, negotiates funding agreements and manages existing investments for LCM. Prior to joining LCM, Carolina was a Senior Associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP in Hong Kong and London where she successfully represented several clients in large and complex construction disputes. Her extensive experience has enabled her to develop innovative strategies which she deploys in cases she manages for LCM's clients.

He has substantial natural resource related experience, having previously served as Managing Director and CEO of North Flinders Mines Ltd and Beach Petroleum. David is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australasian institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. David is also Chairman of Renergen Ltd.

Fiona Heyes

Fiona Heyes is the Head of Underwriting - EMEA based in LCM's London office. With over 30 years of experience in the legal profession, Fiona is responsible for managing the due diligence and underwriting process for LCM's investments in the EMEA region. She also has responsibility for managing a number of investment projects and sits on LCM's Investment Committee for both APAC and EMEA. During her career, Fiona has worked on a wide variety of disputes including international arbitrations (commercial and investor state), FSMA claims, breach of contract and professional negligence disputes and large multi-party claims. Prior to joining LCM, Fiona worked with another global litigation funder as the Head of Core Investments. She was also chair of its Investment Committee and was involved in capital raising activities and investor relations. Before her move into disputes finance, Fiona spent over 20 years as a Partner at Pinsent Masons, and 4 years as a Partner at Plexus Law.

Gerhard Seebacher

Gerhard brings to LCM's Board a long career in financial services and fund management. He has worked extensively in Europe and the US, including a 20-year-plus career at Bank of America in a number of senior management roles within the global investment bank. Gerhard was more recently a partner at Brevan Howard Asset Management, a leading global macro hedge fund, and is currently the Chief Investment Officer and owner of Boulder Hill LLC, a private investment company.

Helene Roins

Helene Roins is an Investment Manager in LCM's Sydney office. Helene is highly experienced operator in disputes finance who is responsible for sourcing, conducting due diligence and managing claims at LCM. Helene has been part of the litigation funding industry since 2018 and has been with LCM since 2020. She works closely with LCM's funded clients and their legal teams to ensure each claim's efficient and effective progress to a positive resolution. Helene's portfolio of claims consists of commercial disputes, class actions, intellectual property and insolvency claims. Prior to moving into litigation funding, Helene spent more than 15 years in private practice in the commercial litigation and insolvency teams at TressCox Lawyers and HWL Ebsworth Lawyers. During that time, Helene specialised in a range of litigation including insolvency and restructuring, bankruptcy, insurance, intellectual property and other commercial disputes across State and Federal jurisdictions.

Hugo Marshall

Hugo Marshall is an Investment Manager based in LCM's London office. Hugo has a proven track record of originating, assessing, and project-managing disputes finance investments for a decade. He has developed via his private practice and disputes finance experiences a specialism in international energy arbitral disputes and also insolvency-practitioner-led claims. Hugo also has a recognised disputes finance practice in general commercial litigation. Hugo joined LCM in 2019 and has contributed to the origination, assessment and active monitoring of LCM's multi-million-dollar portfolio of disputes investments over several jurisdictions, governing laws, practice areas and sectors. Hugo has demonstrated ability to originate and correctly assess and manage significant, complex and challenging disputes finances investments. Hugo played a crucial role in LCM's investment in the Comet litigation, one of the most significant insolvency-practitioner-related judgments in the United Kingdom in 2022. Prior to joining LCM Hugo worked with another global litigation funder in London originating, assessing, pricing, structuring and monitoring high value, complex, often multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration investments. Before moving into disputes finance, Hugo worked at Norton Rose Fulbright and Gibson Dunn in the UK. In these roles he was instructed to act in a range of arbitral, litigation and investigation-based disputes, including insolvency-related claims, primarily over the trade, energy, construction, transport and financial services sectors.

James Foster

James Foster is a Senior Investment Manager in LCM's London office. James has more than 40 years of experience in the legal profession. He has specialised in commercial litigation, international arbitration and ADR since 1981, with a particular focus on arbitration in the UK, the Far East and Middle East. He switched his focus to disputes finance in 2019. Since joining LCM in 2020 James has originated and managed an array of commercial disputes, applying his deep understanding of the litigation and arbitration processes. Most recently he led the successful conclusion of LCM's funding of the Carillion Group's £1.3 billion claim against its former auditors. James also brings his extensive legal expertise to his role on LCM's Investment Committee. Before his move into disputes finance, James was a partner with the international law firm Gowling WLG (previously Wragge Lawrence Graham), where he headed the Middle East Disputes team, having launched the firm's office in Dubai in 2007. During his time in the Middle East James was consistently recognised by the Chambers Global Directory as one of the UAE's leading disputes lawyers, having been involved in some of the region's most challenging disputes.

Jonathan is a Non-Executive Director of IG Group Holdings Plc and has recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Barclays PLC. Prior to his role at Barclays, he was head of Bank of America's European business until 2013 and became the Chief Executive Officer of Merrill Lynch International following the merger of the two institutions in 2008. He was a member of Bank of America's Global Operating Committee. Jonathan has served widely on key industry associations including as chairman of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) from 2004 until 2008 and as a director of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME). Justin Ward

Justin Ward is a Portfolio Manager based in LCM's Sydney office. Justin, has significant experience assists in identifying, assessing and managing complex litigation on behalf of LCM clients. Justin is a former insolvency practitioner and his primary focus is on insolvency-related claims funding; however his portfolio of investments which he has originated and assessed cover a broad range of sectors and jurisdictions. Justin joined LCM in 2019, specialising in the funding of insolvency-related claims including by the assignment of claims and debt purchases. He is at the forefront of the assignment market having completed a number of innovative transactions being the first of this kind in Australia. Prior to joining LCM, Justin had over 10 years' experience managing complex litigation both as an insolvency professional and as a litigation funder. He has had significant success in funding matters which traditionally would not have been funded, and in maximising returns for creditors. Lina Kolomoitseva is the Senior Investment Manager based in LCM's Brisbane office. Specialising in disputes funding since joining LCM in 2014, Lina has a proven track record of successfully developing, monitoring and guiding claims to resolution, and she continues to oversee a significant portfolio of multi-million-dollar investments across various jurisdictions and sectors, including commercial, insolvency, intellectual property and class action proceedings. Lina also brings her experience to bear as a member of LCM's Investment Committee, and in advancing LCM's broader industry initiatives, including regulation advocacy and funding product development and education. Prior to stepping into her role with LCM, Lina gained over a decade of experience as a commercial litigator, advancing complex claims with respected private practice disputes teams. In that time, Lina's expertise was focused on trade practice, contract, negligence and insolvency disputes, as well as intellectual property, confidence and defamation actions. Mary has extensive senior management experience in financial services, having managed finance functions in the UK, Europe and Asia. Mary's proficiency with corporate transactions (both buy & sell side), and her involvement in several restructures, provides her with a strong background in change and people management. Mary has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance), is qualified as a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia), and has completed the Transition to General Management programme through Executive Education at INSEAD. Niall Hanna

Niall Hanna is an Investment Manager and Insolvency & Dispute Resolution specialist in LCM's Singapore office Niall is an English and Cayman Islands-qualified lawyer with over 15 years of expertise working in Insolvency and Dispute Resolution: focusing on complex cross-border corporate insolvencies and distressed situations, and high value financial disputes. He has acted on a broad range of matters - representing corporate clients; insolvency practitioners; shareholders; bondholders; creditors; directors; ad hoc and liquidation committees; service providers; individuals and other stakeholders. Given his specialism in corporate insolvency and distressed situations Niall has had a lot of exposure to situations where litigation financing has made, or would make, the difference between unlocking value for stakeholders and abandoning valuable assets His practice also includes general dispute resolution and he has substantial experience litigating a broad range of commercial disputes: including investor actions; bondholder disputes; directors' duties claims; valuation disputes; IP claims; enforcement actions; fraud, asset recovery and tracing claims and various other claims. His experience of the commercial and legal issues that arise during the life of contentious situations allows him to approach each case with clarity, creativity, and speed. Patrick Moloney - CEO

Patrick Moloney is a veteran of the disputes funding industry with 19 years experience in the space. Patrick has been a Director of LCM since 2003 and the Chief Executive Officer of the Group since December 2013 based out of LCM's London Office. He is responsible for overseeing all litigation projects in which LCM has an investment and (as a Board member) for approving new litigation projects for funding. He has been involved in all aspects of the business including devising strategy for future growth, investor relations and corporate affairs. Patrick is one of the most experienced litigation financiers globally. Prior to joining LCM, he was the principal of Moloney Lawyers, which he established in 2003 and specialised in commercial litigation. Patrick was admitted to practice law in 1996 and has acted in more than 200 commercial litigation disputes for clients in the Australian superior Courts.

Roger Milburn

Roger Milburn is an Investment Manager and arbitration specialist in LCM's Singapore office. With over 15 years of experience in dispute resolution, Roger is responsible for managing LCM's offering throughout Asia where he established LCM's first office outside of Australia in Singapore in 2018. His extensive expertise in conducting international arbitration under the SIAC, LCIA, ICC and UNCITRAL rules, his involvement in commercial and cross-border litigation, as well as his experience in the insolvency sector enable him to originate, assess and manage the full range of funded disputes projects. Roger has specialised in dispute finance since joining LCM in 2018. He has rapidly developed expertise and garnered market recognition with respect to identifying and assessing prospective funding opportunities ahead of devising and structuring user-friendly dispute finance arrangements. Roger deploys the depth of his experience and detailed knowledge of the law and international commercial dispute processes in working closely with LCM's clients and their legal teams to navigate the efficient progress of funded claims to a positive outcome. Prior to joining LCM, Roger spent over 10 years in private practice working for the international law firm Berwin Leighton Paisner (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner) in London, Singapore and Hong Kong, where he conducted a broad range of high value, complex, cross-border disputes with a particular focus on the construction, energy, natural resources, financial and technology sectors. Siba Diqer

Siba Diqer is an Investment Manager based in LCM's Melbourne office. Siba utilises her extensive litigation experience to help litigants achieve successful results in dispute resolution. A strategic thinker, she works closely with clients and advisors to provide bespoke innovative financing solutions. Siba joined LCM in 2018. In this role, she sources and assesses funding opportunities, as well as structures, documents and manages multiple multi-million dollar disputes finance investments for LCM. Siba forms strong trusted client relationships through excellent communication skills and working in a timely and commercially focused manner. Susanna Taylor

Susanna Taylor is the Head of Investments - APAC based in LCM's Sydny office. Susanna leads LCM's team of Investment Managers in Australia and Singapore and is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, due diligence and management of LCM's investment activities across the APAC region. Susanna is a highly experienced and skilled operator being active in the litigation funding industry since 2014 when she joined LCM. Since that time Susanna has been responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing a large and diverse portfolio of dispute projects consisting of commercial disputes, class actions, insolvency claims and international arbitration. Susanna sits on LCM's investment committees for both APAC and EMEA and is intimately involved in the operational aspects of LCM's business, taking part in regulatory and compliance and capital raising activities, investor relations and the expansion of LCM to new jurisdictions. Susanna has been at the forefront of the changing face of regulation of litigation funding in Australia giving evidence to the Parliamentary Inquiry into Litigation Funding and Class Actions in 2020 and in 2022 being involved in the full court decision in LCM Funding v Stanwell which reversed the position requiring funded class actions to be registered as managed investment schemes. Prior to joining LCM in 2014, Susanna was a litigation specialist with Norton Rose Fulbright in Sydney where her practice canvassed class actions, financial institutions disputes, contentious regulatory work (including work for the ACCC) and corporate disputes. Before joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Susanna practised in London for UK firm Hammonds Suddards Edge where her focus was on construction litigation.

Timothy Mayer

Timothy Mayer is a Senior Investment Manager in LCM's London office. Timothy is one of the most experienced disputes finance practitioners in the London market, having entered the profession in 2008 and managed investments in excess of USD180m. He is responsible for the origination, negotiation and structuring of funding opportunities and the subsequent management of investment projects in the EMEA region. He is a member of LCM's Investment Committees for both APAC and EMEA regions. Tim has particular expertise in international arbitration (commercial and treaty), having managed investments conducted under the rules of all the major arbitral institutions. He regularly works on heavy commercial disputes in the High Court in London, including those within an insolvency setting. He has considerable expertise in group claims, including in the Competition Appeal Tribunal, and has funded a number of commercial disputes and group claims in European jurisdictions.

William Panlilio

William Panlilio is an Investment Manager based in LCM's Singapore office. William is a New York qualified lawyer with over ten years of international arbitration and cross-border litigation experience. William specialises in investor state and sovereign disputes, international commercial arbitration, and international litigation on the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, foreign sovereign immunities, and discovery in aid of foreign proceedings. William joined LCM in July 2021. He brings additional expertise in financing agreements, corporate restructurings, share acquisitions, among other global corporate transactions. He works closely with the entire team on developing, modelling, and assessing claims for potential investment by LCM. Before joining LCM, William was a Senior Associate for over five years with King & Spalding where he was involved in a number of landmark cases, including Chevron v. Ecuador, and the global enforcement litigation in Stati v. Kazakhstan. Before that, he was an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, The Netherlands. While at the Court, he assisted arbitral tribunals in treaty and commercial arbitrations involving various combinations of States, State entities, international organisations and private parties.

Zachary Segal

Zachary Segal is an Investment Manager in LCM's London office. Zachary has more than 20 years of experience in the legal profession, specialising in all forms of dispute resolution, and in particular international arbitration, including investor-state disputes, and commercial litigation. Having qualified as a solicitor in 2003, Zachary switched his focus to disputes finance in 2024. Zachary is responsible for originating and assessing prospective projects for disputes finance, negotiating the terms of litigation and arbitration funding agreements and managing LCM's investments in the EMEA region. Prior to his move into disputes finance, Zachary qualified at Allen & Overy LLP and was latterly a partner in the International Arbitration Group at Mishcon de Reya LLP. Zachary was for several years recognised in Legal 500 (UK edition), and other legal directories, as a key contact in the world of international arbitration. The authors of Legal 500 wrote that Zachary "stands out by providing unambiguous guidance" and is "a key contact for proceedings involving emerging markets".
