Adrian Martinez Senior, and his eldest son, Adrian Junior, established Progressive Machining CNC, Inc in Stanton, California in 1995. Adrian Sr, began his career as a machinist at the young age of 16 years old working for his older brother, whom owned a small plastic injection business. After years of learning the tool maker, mold maker, and machinist trade, he was quickly recruited by other companies seeking his expertise. Finally, he landed a job as a shop foreman for a company that manufactured military rotary switches. He was employed with that company for 19 years, until his life long dream of starting his own machine shop in 1995. Adrian Sr and his son Adrian Jr, whom a year earlier had been honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps, took out a loan and purchased an EZ-Track Bridgeport Mill and a EZ-Track Romi Lathe. Shortly after, his other son, Benjamin, and his nephews, Alex and Rey, joined Progressive Machining CNC, Inc. With 45 years of machining experience, we can say we have been lucky enough to be around for more than 20 years in a very competitive industry.
