Hyper Minimalist Loft in a renovated industrial factory contrasting an authentic urban raw feel with hyper minimalism and ultra sleek design. The project involved a gut renovation of the factory halls with gypsum board separating the different spaces... The prerequisite of using the loft as a working photography studio meant utilising the large North facing windows to allow more natural light into the interior while honoring the original character of the former industrial space... New volumes have been added to extend the ground floor while keeping the oversized studio sweep. These volumes include a bar, customer reception, office, makeup / styling space, a living room, lounge and sleeping quarters as mezzanine floors using steel C-channel construction, underlay and dry lining boards.
