Hi, I'm Dave, I'm a Senior iOS Developer and founder of Salisbury Apps. I have worn many different hats over the years.
I spent much of the '80s punching in hundreds of thousands of lines of code; navigated the great waterfall projects of the '90s; and since the advent of Apple's iOS platform for iPhones, I spend my time nowadays building a wide range of mobile apps. I cut my teeth laying out products neatly in e-commerce apps and strengthening the security of banking apps and in recent years I've worked on major transformation projects reaching millions of users: overhauling a flagship GPS app for a beloved national breakdown service; modernising a major supermarket loyalty app and enabling digital ticketing for a major airline carrier.
I love the challenge of finding and fixing bugs, unlocking improvements and am happiest when guiding teams into productive, rhythmical, collaborative cultures. I'm a people person at heart and strive to create the best experiences possible - for my colleagues and for our end users. Outside of work, I'm always found touring and camping in the beautiful English countryside with my wife, who's a much more enthusiastic camper since we upgraded our tent to a caravan in lockdown…!

Hi, I'm the Social Media Marketer & Web Designer here at Salisbury Apps. My career has been the perfect combination of my two loves: creative design and horses. My working life has been spent riding and owning horses, and I've helped to grow several equestrian businesses, from estate agencies, clothing companies through to an innovative horse bedding company. Launching and growing the all-new concept of horse bedding was an enormous challenge and a great pleasure. While leading a Sales team and overseeing Brand & Marketing, sales grew x400 over 6 years across B2B and B2C. My brand, marketing, and partnership strategies established and nurtured relationships with large retailers. On a daily basis I loved to design and manage customer engaging campaigns and social media content to build market share. Creative design and problem solving are at the heart of what I do for my clients. It's always my goal to help clients solve their problems in the most innovative, efficient way possible.
Working at Salisbury Apps has really bought out my desire for web design, and I'm really enjoying bringing clients websites to life.
What would be the first thing my colleagues say when describing me? I'm a hard task master! Whatever I'm working on, I'm committed to conquering it to the best of my abilities to ensure it meets my clients expectations.
Outside of work, I'm often found competing in British Show-jumping and One Day Events with my beautiful horse ‘Joey', and spending time with the family.
