Established in 2014, Scarecrow aims to be this place. Supported by a fantastic team, Alison and Paul continue to evolve their vision to offer the best we can to the local Auckland community... It began when Alison and Paul moved into the city and struggled to find a central city stockist of the foods they wanted daily. They were looking for quality fresh breads, organic coffee, artisan cheeses, fresh olive oils, organic produce and more. And so, without any real understanding of running a retail and hospitality business, Alison and Paul launched Scarecrow. A place to find good things to eat, build community relationships and foster small artisan producers... An urban oasis in the heart of the city, serving fresh food and Kokako organic coffee.
