Since 2016, The Piano has been a place where community groups aspire to take the stage, where next generation artists perform on the same stage as their mentors, where emerging artists meet audiences that become enthusiasts and where seasoned performers enthral audiences from all walks of life... At The Piano, our purpose is to bring artists and audiences together, to create and discover transformative musical experiences. We work with different groups across the spectrum of arts, but one group that is very close to our heart is Ōtautahi's Next Generation. Our Next Generation are our future artists and our future audiences; the Next Generation is our hope for a future filled with music, inspiration, support and thrilling performances.
