Keith West has been a member of the Construction Specifications Institute since 1992, and is a member of The Mississippi Chapter, The Gulf Coast Chapter, and CSInext, a worldwide virtual internet chapter. He obtained Construction Document Technologist (CDT) certification in 1993 and Certified Construction Product Representative (CCPR) in 2007. He has served in many Chapter, Region, and Institute officer and committee positions during this time and continues to be an active member. He has a varied resume which has enabled him to better serve his clientele. He grew up in his father's glass business in the subcontractor's role. He then spent 6-1/2 years in Dallas, Texas, with a developer and general contractor working extensively in Texas and Arizona. The next 3-1/2 years were spent with a Jackson, Mississippi, architectural firm handling the construction administration duties on a $ 23.5 million retirement center in Madison, Mississippi. In 1991, when he purchased this company, he returned initially in the supplier's role, expanded by manufacturer's representative responsibilities, and then expanded into the subcontractor's role again with the addition of installation of the product lines.
