This industry-led, Navy-sponsored collaboration of leading U.S. shipyards was ATI's first Other Transaction Authority (OTA)-based consortium. Guided by a consensus Strategic Investment Plan, NSRP continues to develop new shipbuilding and repair technologies to reduce the total ownership costs of U.S. Navy ships... ATI is the consortium management firm for the industry-led National Armaments Consortium (NAC) and single point contractor for the DoD Ordnance Technology Consortium (DOTC). The early success of the NAC/DOTC enterprise led to the model proliferating across DoD and resulted in ATI having the privilege to ultimately serve as consortia manager for 14 OTA-based collaborations today... Since the very beginning, ATI existed to facilitate collaboration among industry, academia, and the Government.
