First Republic Investment Corporation was officially incorporated in January 2002, but began as a "kitchen table" investment partnership in early 1990 with the acquisition of income producing oil and gas royalties in Foard County, Texas... The company soon branched out and began purchasing real estate for resale, and in late 1996 the partners began aggressively buying, developing, and selling various tracts of land. In 2000, a pilot program began for the search of paper investments to purchase, such as existing cash flows, real estate notes, mortgages, contracts for deed and sale/leasebacks. First Republic Investment Corp. now provides non-traditional sources of capital for real estate investments.
