Adam Baker

Adam is an accomplished and dedicated Golf Coach who has experience in coaching golfers of all ages and abilities within the game. He specialises in developing coaching programmes that are suited to each individual, these are designed to improve technical understanding and to deliver improved performances on the golf course. Adam is passionate about all areas of the game, including psychology and biomechanics. His passion for development has seen him learn from leading experts in both fields. Adam prides himself on his interpersonal skills and encouraging nature; which, combined with his calming and positive attitude, will ensure you can work to your goals with a Coach who will give you the very best of himself, helping you to improve your game and become the golfer you wish to be - whether your goal is to break 100 or 70!

Adam qualified as a PGA professional in 2005 after completing the PGAs flagship degree in Applied Golf Management Studies degree at the University of Birmingham. Since then he has spent over 10 years coaching and competing on various tours.

Daniel Lacy

Daniel has been coaching full time for 8 years and enjoys helping all golfers no matter what their ability level. His experience and knowledge allows students to experience a wide range of tuition options. Daniel takes a simplistic approach to coaching designed to help pupils clearly understand their faults and the fix. Daniels expertise lies in devising coaching programs that get results where is matters, on the golf course. His knowledge of ball flight, swing mechanics, putting and course management ensure clients who are committed to improvement are able to meet their goals. Daniel uses the latest technology the Trackman 4 to analyse ball flight and club data as well as using high speed cameras to analyse your swing. Swing videos are emailed directly to you after each session to monitor your progress and to provide goals and structure for your practice. His approach has seen him quickly become one of the most recommended instructors in London. Daniel is a director of the N1Golf Foundation and has helped introduce thousands of juniors to the game. He is currently a Lead Coach to Middlesex County Under 16s and 14s Squads.

Jason Froggatt

Jason started his golf career as Trainee Golf Professional at Bulwell Forest Golf Club in Nottinghamshire, England under the guidance of PGA Professional Chris Hall. On successfully completing his PGA exams in 1993 he gained a coveted position with The De Vere Belfry golf team as Golf Professional. Jason was soon promoted to Head Assistant before taking on the challenging position of Senior Teaching Professional where his primary role was to maintain the high teaching standards whilst being proactive in improving the knowledge and skills of the professional team. During Jasons tenure at The Belfry he grasped numerous opportunities to enhance his knowledge of the golf business and was actively involved in golf operations including retail, golf services and tournaments. Jasons main focus remained coaching where he developed, implemented and conducted numerous corporate, junior and specialist groups through the PGA National Teaching Academy. Jasons proficiency with coaching programmes such as the V1 coaching, Taylormades Hi-Tec Motion Analysis Technology & SAM Science & Motion Putting Technology have added another dimension to his coaching standards. Dubai was a great opportunity to use his experience and become part of a first class operation at the Middle Easts premier venue. My primary role was to set up and create the best Academy in the region, implementing the best facilities and building the best team was instrumental to making this work. Jasons approach and dedication to coaching, and its development, is evident through his attitude to refining and increasing his thirst for knowledge where he has participated in numerous coaching seminars hosted by golf industry greats such as David Leadbetter, Butch Harmon, John Jacobs, Denis Pugh, Harold Swash, Jim McLean, Tim Barter and sports psychologist Dr John F. Mathers BED (Hons) MED. With all this experience has allowed him to be an active contributor too many media publications and broadcasting in both UK & Middle East for the past 15 yrs, Jason is also an accredited PGA referee, PGA Mentor and PGA Examiner.

Jonathan Gibbons

Jon has now delivered over 7000 hours of golf tuition to a wide variety of golfers from beginners to scratch golfers and is currently a County Academy U16 Coach. "My training as a coach and experience as a player has shown me the importance of adapting my coaching methods to suit the individual. The best results are achieved by setting out clear goals, understanding your swing and making a structured plan for your tuition. Swing Technique is vital but is only one element of overall performance, to shoot consistently lower scores all areas of the game should be addressed at the right time "

Kieren Baldwin

Kieren has a fresh and modern style of coaching that has been developed through performing a large amount of lessons across the UK and Europe over many years. His unique coaching skills are easily understandable to a wide spectrum of players from beginner to elite standard. Using highly advanced technology such as video analysis and Flightscope launch monitors, every golf shot throughout a lesson is able to be tracked which includes information such as club head speed, position at impact, spin rate, overall distance and more. Kieren is able to diagnose any issues you may have with the game, if not visually obvious, this modern technology will provide detailed data, which helps to solve these problems. Therefore these are great tools that enable you to gain a better understanding, such as how to develop more consistent yardages and why you may struggle with ball flight direction. Matthew Naylor

Matthew started his career as Trainee Golf Professional at Turnberry Resort Scotland host to 4 Open Championships In 1977, 1986, 1994 and 2009 . On successfully completing his PGA exams in 2003, where he finished 2nd in his year, he was promoted to the position of Senior Teaching Professional based at The Colin Montgomerie Links Academy. During Matthews tenure at Turnberry he had access to some of the Worlds best coaches and players including organising corporate clinics with Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Sir Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood Colin Montgomerie, Butch Harmon and Bob Torrance. During this period Matthew attended many training courses to enhance his knowledge and teaching skills, including Gasp, V1 Golf, SAM Puttlab and Trackman. Being a competent player Matthew continued his development as a player by going to see some of the top coaches including Bob Torrance, Damien Taylor, Adam Hunter and Andrew Nicholson. Matthew then had the opportunity in 2009 to move to Dubai as a Golf Instructor at The Address Montgomerie Dubai. Being a very busy facility Matthew grew his reputation as a coach through introducing a Ladies Coaching program, Junior Elite Progame and and Elite Golfer performance program. Being a base for Tour Pros Matthew had the opportunity to forge good relationships with a lot of players. Lee Westwood, Andy Sullivan, Steve Webster, Simon Dyson, Pablo Larrazabal and Oliver Fisher, and coaches such as Claude Harmon and Justin Parsons. Matthew spent 18months coaching and traveling the European Tour with Steve Webster from 2014. In April 2016 he moved to Close House as Head PGA Professional. This role included coaching Northumbria University Elite Golf Program. They were crowned champions of the Northern Premier League in 2019 and reached the Semi Finals of the National Cup in 2019 and 2020. Individual success came from Andrew Wilson, James Wilson and Cameron Wallace. Currently they are ranked in the top 5 British Uni Golf Programs. The Academy grew its Ladies and Junior Programs under Matthews leadership.

Mike Ormandy

Mike comes from New Zealand and has 7 years coaching experience with all levels of golfers, from the beginner to scratch handicappers. He is extremely patient and passionate about growing his golfers love of the game via helping them with self improvement. He has a simplistic coaching style and understands each individual is different and tailors his sessions around their own needs. Mike joined us in 2022 after a number of years coaching across two clubs in Dunedin, New Zealand. He has a thorough understanding of the game (played for 25 years) and a strong passion for helping others take their game to the next level not only by tidying up some swing faults that may lie deep within but how the golfer thinks their way around the course. He has a very keen eye for assessing individuals games and swings, in fact, he was a selector for the New Zealand mens and Olympic teams over six years.

Mitchell Spearman

Sandy started playing golf at 14, previously enjoying many other sports to County level . She first represented GB aged 18 and continued to do so for the next 17yrs . She represented England in Home Internationals and both Junior and Senior European Championships numerous times with a handicap of plus 3 (-3). In 1996 she turned Professional and qualified and played on The Ladies European Tour. Sandy has been coaching since 1997. Coaching is Sandy's passion so no wonder she is ranked in the top 1% of coaches in the UK. Her approach is holistic and person centred, rather than following a prescriptive method. Sandy stands out in her ability to pinpoint the precise cause of a problem which she will then modify to allow her student to maximise their full potential. Sandy combines her vast experience as a player and 22 years of coaching with her Bachelors and Masters Golf Machine scientific knowledge, to create solutions which are easy to learn, feel natural and have immediate, amazing results. Sandy specialises in curing the Yips and Shanks. She has evolved a unique way of swinging the club on plane which has proven to be far easier to perform than the conventional teaching. She has developed many simpler ways to play all different shots, successfully incorporating them in her own competitive play in 3 come backs as well as watching her students improve quickly and easily. Sandy is quick to identify the client's preferred learning style and adjust her teaching accordingly. She sees the swing as though in slow motion, has a strong intuitive perception and can spot the smallest detail that could make a significant difference! Pupils also benefit from her wide knowledge of course management, fitness, nutrition, and mental aspects of the game. She achieved Honours in a Sports Psychology part degree at Bucks University. Sandy continuously supports her pupils through the learning process and regularly monitors their progress via text and e mail. Her clientele, now over 1000, over half of whom are single figure handicappers, are mostly personal recommendations from existing pupils. Sandy enjoys coaching beginners to learn the game properly from the start, as well as helping lower handicappers improve by making the swing much simpler and more consistent Sandy has worked with top coaching professionals including Faldo's coach Mitchell Spearman and taught Golf Schools with Jim Christine, (her Guru and Mentor!) Head of Swing with the PGA, Andrew Hall and Tim Barter from Sky. She was Head Coaching Professional at Harleyford Golf Club for 5 yrs. She has taught members of the Mens and Ladies scratch teams including Temple, Harleyford, Henley, Maidenhead, Badgemore, Huntercombe, Beaconsfield, Highgate and Coombe Hill Golf Clubs and coached the first team at Radley College. Sandy has coached PGA Professionals on The Mens European Tour: G Havret, Peter Lawrie. Sandy has coached The Berkshire Ladies First Team, juniors to International and Professional level and for US university team scholarships. One of her Junior girls, now just 11 yrs old, has dropped her handicap from 35 to 8 in one year. As a player Sandy was partnered with Laura Davies, for Surrey foursomes and became Surrey Champion several times, achieving Champion of Champions in County Week. She was awarded a Golf and Academic scholarship to University of Florida, NCAA Champions . In the semi final of The British Championship, she birdied the 18th to go All square with Catriona Matthew (Solheim Cup Captain), but lost to a birdie on the 19th! Sandy won several Major International Scratch events including The Astor Salver 1994/95, both 5 under par, The Critchley Salver 1994, The Keighley Trophy and many others. She also holds several course records. She was undefeated on a GB team tour to South Africa. At 18 Sandy was Under 23 British Stroke play Champion, R-uP In the U23 English Strokeplay Championship and 3rd in the British Stroke play championship. Aged 20 whilst at University of Florida, she was told she would never play golf again due to wrist injuries from a poor grip. She spent the next 3 months with both wrists in plaster, visualising winning The English Championship and within 3 weeks of the plaster being removed, she returned to the UK and was runner up in the English Championship sadly losing 1 down in the final, (after 7 rounds!) She then played on the International Teams for the next 3 years until eventually she admitted temporary defeat from her wrist injuries and retired from the International Golf Circuit. Sandy then worked as a Financial Consultant in London. After a 10 years and 2 children Sandy returned to the golf scene with a completely new swing reaching International level (plus 3) once again. Her journey and comeback have provided valuable insight into the process of changing an established swing through mental and physical practice. This has proven extremely helpful in her coaching. Sandy has spent considerable time exploring injury prevention, drawing on a variety of resources and expert advice from top physiotherapists from the National Sports Centre as well as exercise physiology and Pilates strengthening. Sandy is available for individual and group/team sessions as well as on course playing lessons and golf psychology. Accomplished players and beginners of all ages are welcomed.

Shaun is an experienced coach, having held 3 Head Professional positions and coached on three continents previously, as well as spending the last 2 seasons caddying on the European Tour in order to see first-hand what it really takes to get there, and what life on Tour is really like. Whether you are just starting out, or an established player, he will coach YOU, not the latest fad or try to fit you to a swing type, Shaun doesnt believe that there is only one way to swing a club (he has coached a person with a missing limb to a single figure h/c) but there is definitely a way that is optimum for you - let's find it! Born and raised in Zimbabwe, he now lives and works in the UK. He has over 17 years teaching experience and over 10,000 lessons given, covering locations in Africa, Middle East and England, delivering to a very wide spread of nationalities and abilities. He loves what he does, and he loves helping people improve!
