John Linehan - he said Yes! John aka May McFettridge has graciously agreed to be Aisling Ghear's Patron. A maestro of comedy with an interest in Irish Language - for quite a few people the Irish language is a treasure; for a lot of people John Linehan is a national treasure!

Nuala Ni Neill

Nuala Ni Neill is a writer, actress and business woman. She has worked with the company on many of its productions including writer of the long running show The Fadgies and the hugely popular Caoimhe & the Midnight Visit. She established an accredited Youth Theatre Programme, Aisling Óg, at the Cultúrlann before setting up her own business Teach Mhamó, an Irish speaking Day Care Centre for 0-5 year olds.

Orla Fitzsimons

Orla Fitzsimons is a Marketing Graduate with a strong background in Sales. She has been an active member of the Irish language community and was involved in setting up the Glór na Ghleanna Youth Club and in the development of the Aisling Óg Drama School in the Cultúrlann, She is currently the Senior IT Contract Specialist at Vanrath Recruitment.

Seán Ó Muireagáin

Seán Ó Muireagáin is an advisory officer with Comhairle na Gaelscolaiocta. He has been an activist and advocate for the Irish language all his adult life. He has played a part in all aspects of the language including; theatre, TV, singing and even writing. He has worked in the Irish-medium education sector for almost 30 years and is currently working with Comhairle na Gaelscoilochta the representative body for Irish-medium Education. It was set up in 2000 by the Department of Education to promote, facilitate and encourage Irish-medium Education. One of CnaG's central objectives is to seek to extend the availability of Irish-medium Education to parents who wish to avail of it for their children.

Simon Wood

Simon Wood - film maker. Co-founder of Northern Visions, a grass roots community media centre which broadcasts on NVTV, the Belfast Community television channel. In the past Simon has worked for BBC, Channel 4, RTE, TG4, UTV, ZDF, RAI, and numerous broadcast and production companies. He has produced TV documentaries, short dramas, a feature film and many films for community, charity and campaign organisations He is the Technical Director with Journeyfor - a next generation Creative Agency in Belfast.
